Today is the
International Children's Book Day. It was established in 1925 on the date of Hans Christian Andersen's birthday, April 2. Andersen is one of the most famous and loved fairy-tale writers of all times.
Celebrations of this holiday across the world include meetings with authors and illustrators, writing competitions, and reading children's books to groups of children. If you have kids in your family, today is a great occasion to read them something before bed ;)
To celebrate the International Children's Book Day, show what books could be written for children by celebrities and politicians. Think of all the (bad or good) wisdom some celebrities could "teach" kids, what "manuals" celebrities could make for children about "grown up life" or politics. You can either design your book cover from scratch or photoshop existing children's books. Example: "Little Red Riding Ho" by Paris Hilton. See another example here.

This month Google asked American kids to re-create the Google logo. The contest was called "Doodle 4 Google" and the winning image was then shown as Google logo on the Google front page on May 21.
Show what famous paintings (and art) would look like if the famous artists created these pieces when they were still kids. Feel free to "recreate" the art pieces from scratch or edit them to "downgrade" them to kids' level.

French movie "The Class" has won at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
"The Class" tells a story about a life in a tough Paris school with
unruly pupils. What makes this win amazing is that there were no
professional actors in the movie - it was played by real pupils and
real teachers. A bunch of these happy pupils were at the Cannes'
ceremony sharing the glory of receiving the Cannes' Palme d'Or with the
film director Laurent Cantet.
This is the first time a French movie won the Cannes' Palme d'Or
since 1987 when French director Maurice Pialat won with his film
"Under Satan's Sun".
Take any movie and turn it into a children's movie. Change actors
into children (or even babies) or puppets, add pacifiers, rubber
duckies, toys, etc. These are just some ideas.

It was adopted mostly by former and current Communist and Socialist countries.
To celebrate International Children's Day at Freaking News, show what famous paintings (and art) would look like if the famous artists created these pieces when they were still kids. Feel free to "recreate" the art pieces from scratch or edit them to "downgrade" them to kids' level. Here's a good example (by preemiememe) of how Rene Magritte would draw in his childhood years.

| Funny Schwarzenegger's Illegitimate Children pictures -
Arnold Schwarzenegger has publicly admitted fathering a child with the long-time housemaid of his family. Schwarzenegger's illegitimate son is now 14, and was born two weeks after Schwarzenegger's son Christopher, which means that over 14 years ago both Schwarzenegger's wife Maria Shriver and the housemaid who lived with them, were pregnant with his children.
Maria Shriver eventually confronted the maid, when she realized that the maid's son looked similar to Arnold. The maid was let go, Arnold made a $65,000 down-payment on her house, and she has been silent about the real father of her child for years.
Let's recall that in the midst of the 2003 California governor campaign, several women came out with the claims that Arnold grouped them, and some claimed that he's the father of their children. Back then Arnold denied all accusations.
Could we soon hear about more Arnold's secret kids? Take any female celebrity and photoshop her possible "love child" with Arnold.
