Dick Cheney funny pictures - Vice President Cheney was invited to the proceedings. (Confession is good for the soul.) / Well now...THAT'S just creepy. *shudder* Good Chop... / Gotta be one of the creepiest/ugliest things I've done. Hmm, maybe I need to explore my dark side more. / perfect entry as satan that screwed-up the World. |
Cheney Ferengi funny pictures - Ferengi Rule of Acquisition Number 34: War is good for business. / I am one that believes that people that are successful should not be demonized, so I have to congratulate Dick Cheney for not only being successful in business, but being a fantastic Vice President of the United States. GO DICK GO. / I wonder if you'd feel that way if your child had died in Iraq. Our young men and women have been sent there under a pretense of lies. Lies Cheney and the rest told not to fight terrorism, but in order to increase their financial holdings. Which is more important to you, Registered, money or human life. How many people is it okay to kill in order to make a fast buck. / Your use of the deaths of our troops to bolster YOUR lies just to make petty political points on the internet makes me absolutely want to vomit. / Salix, first you must know that these are not "children" sacrificing their lives in Iraq. Rather they are individuals that had the strong desire to become a professional soldier, knowing full well when he/she enlisted their life could be given for whatever cause of freedom and "America" decides. Pat Tillman was an example of a soldier, not a child, that understood it took a great sacrifice to guard our freedom and to open the path of freedom to others. It is terribly unfortunate that children and other innocents have died, but Iraq is on the path to freedom, as was Japan and Germany after WWII. / Registered, thank you for responding reasonably to my angry outburst. I apologise to you and fotoslop and anyone else who was offended by my words. I just feel deeply for our troops, and I feel that our government is abusing their pledge to die for this country. It saddens me that the pretense for invading the country was a false one, and that our occupation has turned into a quagmire. Please also forgive my view of soldiers. Several months ago I attended the funeral of a young man I went to school with named Kyle. He died in Iraq. He was eighteen, and had enlisted straight out of high school. It's the first time I've ever been to the funeral of someone younger than me. / / Salix, even when the issue is a deeply cutting one, I believe it is a good thing to have a cordial discussion. I am sorry that you had a friend die in Iraq and that he was young. However, I believe Kyle knew the risk he was taking when he enlisted. These men are highly-trained, put their lives on the line (no matter what the cause) and deserve our utmost respect and honor. Saying he died for a "quagmire" undercuts the sacrifice he made, and I just can't do that to a brave soldier that lost his life. And as far as Iraq turning into a "quagmire"..I am sorry, but history has shows us that after a serious military engagement it takes time and resolve to help a country (in this case Iraq) grasp the concepts of Liberty and Freedom under the guise of a Democratically elected government rather than tyranny or dictatorship. I am absolutely POSITIVE about Iraq's future. All I have to do is look at history. We dropped two huge atomic bombs on Japan, killing countless thousands of innocent Japanese, yet the Japanese understand that through this loss of life, the world became free. There were Michael Moore's back then that were calling Japan and Europe "quagmires" too. Look at today. Kyle did a good thing when he laid down his life so that others could be free. Future generations of Iraqis will understand what Kyle and others did for them. / The difference between Japan and Iraq is that Japan attacked us first. Japan posed a threat to the rest of the world. All evidence shows that Iraq did not. They had no WMDs and little means to threaten anyone. They had no ties with al-Qaeda. In fact our actions there have angered many arabs and increased the recruitment of terrorists, decreasing our security. There are many, many other countries in the world that are under tyrranical governments and could use to be liberated, but we haven't invaded them. Why not. / So at what point do we intervene. Would you have it that Iraq still have Saddam in control killing his people. They are still excavating mass graves to this day. Would you allow a Hitler to remain in place. I think No, and No. We did the right thing, and I am not one to wait around in this day and age where the technology and means to hurt us can be transported so easily. As far as the other countries, as in anything, you have to do things based on the situation. We struck Iraq because we could with measured risk. That risk increases when it comes to countries like N. Korea who have already the means to deliver nuclear warheads. Fact is, I DON'T WANT TO WAIT for WMD's, if a rogue is trying to develop them then I say take them out. I saw one too many people jump from the towers along with the thousands that were incinerated on that day. The world has changed. / Yada yada yada...what really matters is this a a gr8 chop...kudo's / uuum isn't this a little off track of the picture. / Its more than just that. You both are missing the point. Whether or not saddam had WMD, he definetly had to go, and definetly by force because this guy was not gonna go peacefully. That i will admit. But you also have to realize that under what circumstances are we going in. We are going in on the basis of something that isn't true, otherwise known as a lie. That is the problem with the war. If the war had been introduced because of different reasons such as removing a dangerous and ruthless dictator from power, then that would be a different story. ALso, you say that the people who enlist in the army know what they are getting into, but what about the people who are in the army because they have no money for school, and it is there only choice. / Registered, Hitler invaded Poland, Saddam Hussein invaded nowhere / So you're saying as long as the slaughter occurs within the borders of the country it's okay. That's absurd. By your definition Hitler could have committed total genocide of the jews without any international intervention. Sheesh. / I'm not saying that at all, but the war was started under the pretence that Saddam Hussein posed a threat to the world and, god forbid, the United States. Whereas your comparison with Hitler is inaccurate becuase Hitler posed a legitimate threat to other countires, whereas Saddam Hussein did not. / I go to FreeRepublic for the political discussion. I come here for the chops. / Registered, there is currently genocide going on all over the world, in countries without any means to stop the US from waltzing in and liberating them, if that's really what our "altruistic" goal is. Sudan, Rwanda, and Slovenia among many others we never hear about in the US have engaged in attrocious acts of genocide in the past couple decades. Why was ol' Dubya more interested in Iraq. I'm sure he cares tons about the people there. Had nothing to do with the oil. Nope. Oh, might I point out that ol' Saddam committed his worst crimes against the Iraqi people while he was our ALLY. / i would like to first say that the picture is great though untrue. i agree with Registered very much. and to those who disagree let me say a few things my father age 38 is in Iraq right now and i do not like it at all. you see americans hate the war in iraq but not for the reasons they tell people the truth is that the war is hated not because it is truly wrong and not because we think we have been deliberatly lied to but because it poses a threat to people we know and love. we do not honestly sit down and believe that bush would lie to us for money because no matter how much some americans hate him we all know that he is not that kind of person the truth is we hate the war because it scares us and americas biggest fear is fear itself. we had to go to war to show the world that we are not a completely concieded country God put america here so that we could protect the world and show them how to do things right. i am not sorry if you are offended by this. if you do not agree with what i have said then perhaps you should think about the huge possibilty of YOU being wrong i know its hard but try. / Salix I love it when a chop like this can drag everyone out for a chat. You did a great Job on the image the message is there and the work speaks for itself. congrats on the Trophy / I happen to like the pic and stop the political jabber. / Good picture..but c'mon, admit it...Ross Perot is a real Ferengi. Just look at him. |
Dick Cheney on St Patrick`s Day funny pictures - Cheney is a Guinness man on St. Patrick's day.. / My source images: http://www.personal.psu.edu/users/j/w/jws253/2003-03-17-st_pats/images/guinness_pitcher_jpg.jpg http://www.sltrib.com/2003/Sep/09152003/images/CHENEY_WX102.jpg / Nice blending. Dick Cheney funny pictures - Sept. 13, 2005: H3LL FREEZES OVER, PIGS FLY, JESUS RETURNS . . . as President George W. Bush finally takes responsibility for something that went wrong on his watch (this time, the federal government's way-less-than-competent response to the massive destruction on the Gulf Coast by Hurricane Katrina). Nation breaths a collective "DUH." as it ponders what might have been: $14 billion to update those New Orleans levees and sea walls BEFORE vs. maybe $300 billion to fix the damage NOW. Also, many thanks to Vice President Dick Cheney for modeling as one cool Satan (no one knows what Satan really looks like, but Dick seemed the closest fit). And congratulations to Dick's old company, Halliburton, for nabbing some of the heftiest no-bid rebuilding contracts in the wake of Katrina CNN Haliburton story. / . The story below the entry is definitely worth reading too. / Nation breaths a collective "DUH." as it ponders what might have been: $14 billion to update those New Orleans levees and sea walls BEFORE vs. maybe $300 billion to fix the damage NOW. Wonder if you heard about the investigations that were underway BEFORE the hurricane into the corrupt democrat politicians in LA. Why didn't Clinton upgrade the levees. Hurricanes don't happen when a democrat is in office. Oh yea, I almost forgot the democrat's mantra "It's ALL Bush's FAULT." / Echotalon, I don't thimk anyone said it was "ALL Bush's fault." What's amazing is that Bush admitted to a mistake at all about anything. Would you care to talk about his role in that fiasco in Iraq now. / This is very well-done, with good design aesthetics. Notice I'm not commenting on the message. A minor suggestion: would you please resize your images so someone without a jumbotron monitor can view full without scrolling. / Fiasco. It's called spreading democracy, something you liberals used to believe in. We are in Iraq AT their request. Did you like the recent election in Afghanistan. / "Libral." Them's fightin' words. Oh, and thanx for the 3 vote. / Typical lib, you should check your facts (and spell check) before you make these unfounded comments. For years La. was funded money to use for the levees, but as is the Dem. way they were used for something else (maybe funding looters) You down Cheney's looks, why don't you check out almost any libs looks, such as Teddy, mr. & mrs. Kerry, Dennis Kucinis, Allen Combes, John Dean or just about anyone of them. / I thimks you the one needs some fact checkin', heckie. No doubt many of the Dems are scoundrels too (specially down thar in Lusianna), but they ain't the ones in charge now. It was this administration and congress that cut the levee funding most recently (and lotsa other "little guy" funding too, even as they managed to hand out tax cuts to the most wealthy and tax breaks to the big corps). And who said anything about Dick's looks (I thimk he's a perfectly fine lookin' man for his age and girth). No, the Cheney-as-Satan image is like a whole "persona" kinda thing. Spell checker. What's that. / raygregory, spell checker is like fact checker, something you don't seem to be familiar with. As for tax cuts, if you had a job, unlike many libs, that just want the government to take care of them, you would have received a tax cut. You pay taxes you got a cut. How many times is the gov. supposed to fund a project. So just sit back and blame someelse. Isn't there an old saying that goes something about helping those that help themselves. The only ones that you condone that helped themselves were the looters (who were probably also libs) / , me thinks the "ladies" doth protest too much. p.s. Echotalon - voting 3 on a technically sound photoshop due to politics stinks to high heaven of poor sportmanship. Perhaps it's time you brush up on the voting guidlines. / heckie, I don't know what exactly else your idea of a "liberal" entails (besides unemployment), but did you realize most U.S. tax dollars come from the so-called blue states and go to the red states. / raygregory, evidently you don't know a lot of things. Have you ever seen a map of the sections of the blue states where they are liberal. You have places like Detroit, Philly, Chicago and such places with large populations and plenty of liberals that don't work. The working pepole pay taxes and the non workers are kinda like the looters- take what you want and have someone else pay for it. Give me a reply, I have a lot more ammunition, although not as much as the looters / Heckie3, If you really want a dialog on this with raygregory, I suggest you take it over to the FreakingNews Political Discussions Forum and start a thread there. Just a little reminder to everyone (and to myself), comments here should pertain to the quality of the image entry. OK. / Good idea, sosumi (I really shouldn't have gotten into it with him here, me, a silly lib who's worked about 35 years, ran a business, paid lotsa taxes, and am even a veteran . . . when I coulda just been lootin' all along). / Fiasco. It's called spreading democracy, something you liberals used to believe in. We are in Iraq AT their request. Did you like the recent election in Afghanistan. --> What a dumbass.. |
