 Cat in the Hat with Traffic Cone Hat funny pictures - Cat cartoon recreated using mostly the smudge tool / Very creative and funny. I liked the teletubby in the background too. / Clever. This is cool, it almost reminds me of my Mike Myers chop a bit. luv the cigar. / Might have been the same source, Funk. I'll have to refresh my brain and look through your gallery. I was a little surprised just how close I got the digital effects to wet media illustrations I did for some children's books I did. Really, all it involed was a little stretching in liquify, sharpen and contrast about 70 % then setting the smudge tool to small brush at 24% and scrubbing it to death Then just illustrated in some eyes with the airbrush and a little detailing to sharpen and whallah, a gouache illustration... almost I'll do a lot more in this style as it is way fun. Aaaand perhaps a different background. Glamour girls don't play in the backyard^^ (great work though with the unsharpness of the background). / Thank you Tom. About the fur, yes it could had a deeper fur, anybody would do it as I see it every where, but as an artist I tryed to give it a different twist, a blend. The back ground ahhh...cats hang around back yards and this one especialy likes my backyard. hahaha. Thank you again, very kind. / cool, hard to do without being to repetitive..love it |
