I had to bust up quite a few of the source images as well. In other words, sample parts rather than whole images. One cool thing is the cracked Earth was actually from a B&W image and after about an hour of coaxing and running it through some cheapie filters I finnally the color to agree with the cracked earth in the A bomb source. Getting that to the point of seamless blend was really satisfing. Thanks for the votes and comments everyone.
