Today is the
International Children's Book Day. It was established in 1925 on the date of Hans Christian Andersen's birthday, April 2. Andersen is one of the most famous and loved fairy-tale writers of all times.
Celebrations of this holiday across the world include meetings with authors and illustrators, writing competitions, and reading children's books to groups of children. If you have kids in your family, today is a great occasion to read them something before bed ;)
To celebrate the International Children's Book Day, show what books could be written for children by celebrities and politicians. Think of all the (bad or good) wisdom some celebrities could "teach" kids, what "manuals" celebrities could make for children about "grown up life" or politics. You can either design your book cover from scratch or photoshop existing children's books. Example: "Little Red Riding Ho" by Paris Hilton. See another example here.
Funny Dr. Seuss Books pictures -
Theodor Seuss Geisel, known as Dr. Seuss, would have turned 105 this Monday. Dr. Seuss is famous by his Children's books (he wrote about 60 of them) that have been enjoyed by beginner readers and families for several generations. Seuss also drew over 400 political cartoons for a New York daily newspaper. He also joined US army during World War II where he was the leader of the animation department.
Many FNers are big fans of Dr. Seuss books. Here's a short poem written by thekillerbee, who suggested this contest:

To honor Dr. Seuss' birthday photoshop anything related to Dr. Seuss. Examples include creating new Dr. Seuss stories, turning people or animals into Dr. Seuss characters, etc.
Funny Books pictures - What could we find in old books? Create images of how books can be used to hide things or be modified in some way to serve a different purpose, or images of books being used in any unique, unconventional manner.

Outstanding. / With all that Blood shouldn't there be some on the laptop, and some coming out from between the Teeth, also from that perspective I dont think you would see the reflection of teeth in the blood. / great job on the eyes, they blend excellently

Is that an AstroTurf door on the truck. / Like a refrigerator door, it is a removable astro turf flotation device that can be removed to a slanted or horizontal position. The door will float in the event of a Chappaquiddick type incident. Senator Kennedy not only recommends Senator Kerry, he highly recommends the Astro Turf Pick Up Truck Door. / One improvement I might suggest is the proper spelling of "Texarkana".
