The iconic Clock Tower of Britain's Parliament, commonly known as Big Ben, will be renamed in honor of Queen Elizabeth II, British authorities announced today. One of Britain's most recognizable landmarks, the 315-foot-high structure will now formally be known as Elizabeth Tower. People already gave Elizabeth Tower a new nickname - Large Liz. The tower's name change followed a campaign, backed by most MPs and the three main party leaders, in recognition of the Queen's 60 year reign.
Will the tower's name change (and gender reassignment), from Big Ben to Large Liz, change its looks too? Show how Big Ben may (or may not) be given a total makeover to suit its new name Large Liz.
