Rock balancing is becoming a popular hobby this summer. Nature lovers say rock balancing is a form of sculpture art that teaches you patience, sensitivity, and most importantly unites you with the nature. Veteran rock balancers usually take days to find appropriate stones and days of tries and errors to balance them in seemingly impossible composition.
Create any balancing composition - any objects or people balanced on each other - the weirder the better.

This Friday we continue our freaking experiment with provided source images.
Photoshop this balancing act image any way you wish . Some examples are - making this wannabe balancer balance at some other places, making the guy perform some other stunts, designing a poster with this balancer, putting this balancer into some new environment, movies, paintings, etc. These are just some ideas.

Some words to this picture: At the beginning I had a vague idea how it could look like (the white background, an insect on the bottom... but nothing else) and began to search for source images. At this point everything was possible... 1st element I found was the green bug, 2nd the match, 3rd the cherry - now *bling* the idea with the caterpillar (4th) - the 5th part was a pencil, 6th the dice and on 7 the screw. I combined all the sources, the pencil went out. "Damn, something is missing on the top..." - that's what the strawberries brought in. Finally, to add more realism - the strawberry juice drops and vóila - here it is. Original height is 9000 px... against my usual comment "please view full" I should have added something like "best viewed in small" or anything else, ... the score was a surprise by the way. I never thought to get such a result - . Thanks / Tom, you have shown us how the flow of genius creations work - very entertaining. I can imagine something similar from the mouth of Michelangelo: At first I had no idea how it'd look like, I only knew it'd be Adam and God playing "pull my finger" joke. Then I found some more sources... finally I had to paint it on the Sistine chapel ceiling, so that everyone could "view full"... / Well, I just saw the new title... "Amazing Insect Balancing Trick", good description - but as a fan of Depeche Mode I liked my original title "Get the Balance Right" more. Really, I did. |
