New Seven Wonders of the World pictures - This weekend the New 7 wonders of the World were announced, as determined by global voting via internet, phone and SMS, out of the list of 21 candidates. The winners are: Rome's Colosseum, The Great Wall of China, Taj Mahal in India, Machu Picchu in Peru, Statue of Christ Redeemer in Brazil, Petra in Jordan, and Chichen Itza pyramid in Mexico. As you can see the only "old wonder" that made the list again was the Colosseum in Rome, and it was also the only wonder chosen from Europe. Surprisingly, the Egyptian pyramids of Giza were not chosen.
Photoshop any of the New Seven Wonders of the World listed above in any way you like - modernize them, make some toys based on the wonders, include them in paintings, etc. Some examples to get you started are: decorating The Great Wall of China, making McDonald's restaurant out of the Taj Mahal, or giving a paint job to the Colosseum.
Revenge pictures - Photoshop revenge of politicians, celebrities, or just "normal people". Showing proof that revenge indeed feels sweet is a plus.
Steve Irwin Tribute pictures - Many of us admired Steve Irwin and enjoyed his TV programs and documentaries on wild life, and Steve's sudden death shocked millions of people worldwide. His passion for animals touched the hearts of many people, especially pet lovers. Steve Irwin lived and died doing what he loved the most. In this contest let us pay tribute to the "Crocodile Hunter" by photoshopping Steve Irwin and wild animals in famous paintings. Your painting entry has to include both Steve Irwin and at least one wild animal to qualify for this contest. An animal has to be a wild animal (no domesticated animals - e.g. no cats, dogs, or cows) and may be present in a painting source picture, or can be added there entirely by you. Steve Irwin has to be "in good light" in the entries - it is a tribute contest and we are not looking for "bad humor" here.

Seven Deadly Sins pictures -
This month the Vatican has updated the list of seven deadly sins. According to the Pope the update was needed because "times have changed and so have the sins and sinners".
The original seven deadly sins were declared in the 6th Century by Pope Gregory:
Pride,
Envy,
Gluttony,
Lust,
Anger,
Greed,
Sloth.
The new seven deadly sins, declared in March 2008 by Pope Benedict XVI, officially replace the old list and are:
1 - "Bioethical" violations such as birth control,
2 - "Morally dubious" experiments such as stem cell research,
3 - Drug abuse,
4 - Polluting the environment,
5 - Contributing to widening divide between rich and poor,
6 - Excessive wealth,
7 - Creating poverty.
Photoshop any of the old or new seven deadly sins as demotivational posters. Try to make them mimic the classic motivational posters format (see examples) - black background, image in the middle, followed by the title word(s), and demotivational message below. The image in the middle has to be photoshopped, so you can not just take unaltered photo and add text to it. NOTE: as an exception to our rules, in this contest you are allowed to recycle any of your previous entries of FN and use it for the central image in your demotivational poster. Remember that your entry in this contest HAS to include the title word(s) and a de-motivational text message, like in the examples above.

Invisiblity Revealed pictures - Mirrors sometimes reflect more than we would like to see...or sometimes not. Demi Moore / GREAT WORK. Only flaw I could spot was the opposing reflections on the earrings. / Lovely. But should we not see the flowers in the mirror behind Demi. That's a quibble though, great job. / The earrings look okay to me, and I can clearly see the reflection of the flowers in the mirror. Great job.. / Nice, but the stockings have a greyish blur and skin seems to be lacing the edges esp. on the left one. Good idea though. / The stockings would be greyish, there is no skin underneath. It's a good entry in my opinion, but then I am not a nit picker. / Nit picker or otherwise, you need to look carefully at the edge. No doubt it is a good idea and entry but yet... / Alligator is right, the flowers are imaged - beautifully too.
