Fidel Castro pictures - Your job is to help Cuba's government making the world believe Fidel Castro is doing fine by photoshopping famous magazine / newspaper covers. Clarification: "Doing Fine = Not Dead", so as long as you try to show Castro alive (e.g. miraculous recovery or even on a hospital bed in coma), your entry qualifies.

This week Fidel Castro has announced his official resignation as President of Cuba and commander-in-chief after almost 50 years in power. The Cuban parliament and Castro's brother Raul will continue running the country.
To say our goodbye to Fidel Castro after some 50 years, photoshop him any way you wish. Some examples are: twisted magazine covers announcing Castro's resignation, Fidel's plan's for the future, his alternative careers in the past, Castro in paintings and movies. You can even think of some US election posters featuring Castro.
Fidel Castro pictures - "Poor" Fidel is upset that once again he has been identified as a multimillionaire and not one of the truly destitute peasants he rules over in Cuba. Create images of Castro living the millionaire's "high life" (doing things associated with the wealthy, hanging out with celebrities, shopping, in wealthy clothes, etc). Create images of Fidel Castro that he would rather not have the people of Cuba see.
Dell Laptops pictures - If you happen to hear a series of explosions in offices or see houses and internet cafes burned to the ground, don't worry,- it's just exploding batteries in Dell laptops. This week Dell announced a recall of over 4 million laptops - biggest computer-related recall ever - due to lithium-ion batteries that cause their Dell machines to overheat, catch fire, or even explode. I guess it just shows that Dell laptop customers will finally get a good BANG! for their money.
To make a long story short Dell now gives customers two options - either recall your laptop, or pull the fuse and run for your lives. Dell may well have forgotten the golden rule of laptop business that putting grenades in place of laptop batteries is a No-No. In this contest you are asked to save all us poor Dell customers from yet another disaster and warn us in advance how Dell laptops are REALLY unsafe - what's wrong with their batteries, monitors, keyboards, DVD/CD writers or any additional Dell laptop's devices. Feel free to change Dell logo on laptops to reflect their 'safety policies'. You can also show Dell laptops on fire / smoke during presentations, conferences, etc. Remember to keep your entries to Dell laptops only - desktops or other laptop manufacturers are not allowed.
P.S. I tried contacting Dell customer service to see if they liked our contest, and they told me I will "BURN IN DELL" for that...
Delta Airlines pictures -
Delta Airlines and Northwest Airlines announced that they are merging into one carrier. The merger was approved by the director boards of both companies this week. This merger will create the world's biggest carrier valued at over $17 billion. The combined airline will be called Delta, will be based in Atlanta and Delta's CEO Richard Anderson will head the combined company.
Let us imagine that Delta and Northwest combine not only companies but actually their airplanes too.
Photoshop Delta and Northwest AIRPLANES merged together one way or another. Some examples are: place one plane on top of another (vertically), or next to each other (front view, horizontally), create tandem airplane (one long airplane with two sets of wings), etc.

Alton Kelley, one of the founding fathers of psychedelic art, died this Sunday at the age of 67.
Alton Kelley was most known for creating psychedelic posters and psychedelic album covers for rockers in the 60s, including such big names as the Grateful Dead (famous "skull and roses" poster), Journey, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, and
Steve Miller. Kelley's works greatly influenced the leading artists of Psychedelic Art movement such as Rick Griffin, who moved to San Francisco after seeing Kelly's psychedelic posters and soon started producing his own.
To pay our tribute to Alton Kelley, photoshop Psychedelic Art any way you wish. Some examples are: create your own psychedelic art, or photoshop any famous posters, movies or paintings to give them
