Autumn Wedding Dance pictures - I tried some new effects on this one. Please view full. I would appreciate constructive critique. Thanks. / I am of the opinion that the filter detracts from the image. But I like realism too. The dancers are proportioned nicely for this image. The lighting looks like indoor flash though. Maybe adjusting the levels or brightness/contrast a bit will help. They do seem to be casting a shadow in the right direction. / I had the same thoughts as Keb. The couple need to be lit from the left. / this is so nice and romantic, nice work, just the couple is a lil small compared with trees' size / Not too sure I like the filter on the edges. It's a bit too textured. A differet filter might be better. The couple seems to be front lit from a camera flash, creating a harsh light. The should be lit from the left by a softer, warmer light. Very romantic tho. / maybe a little less of the filter, but a nice looking card
Dance Company pictures - / Me loves it. They really look jolly and dancing. / I really would like to know which was the criterion adopted for the people who had classified this work as " note 4" … and what it lacked for be "5"...lamentable.
Pole Dancers pictures - / i thought about doing something like this too, haha. the barber pole doesn't blend very well, though. / yep - obvious choice for a pole.. . Your pole would not be suspended in air tho - why not chop off the bottom bit and set it into the floor. Good try. / nice idea but watch out for the reflections in the metal (they're reflecting blue sky and pavement) / Thanks for all the suggestions, I will keep them in mind for the next time I have to deal with reflections.
Monkey Dancer pictures - / Love the concept, but the head and chest may need a slight color adjustment - they are somewhat greeh-ish compared to the arms.
Dance of the free spirit pictures - I was inspired by the 4th of July so I found a photograph of fireworks which makes me think of the 4th of July (being originally from Windsor, Ontario)--a city which celebrates both the American 4th of July and the Canadian 'Canada Day' together--in a multi-million fireworks display. From this idea, I went on to the work displayed here. source1 source2 / Interesting idea - but the poor quality of background source rather spoils the effect / I like the abstract quality of this.. needs to be crisper tho.. well done.
Gold Dance pictures - / Looks great, but the fingers of her left hand look unfinished. / well if there are only 4 fingers is ok. the another one is behind
