The 80th Academy Awards night is this Sunday. There was a lot of tension and uncertainty about the upcoming Oscar night because of the Hollywood writers strike. Luckily the strike ended soon enough to still arrange Oscars in full glory, so we can expect a wonderful show.
Photoshop anything related to the Academy Awards (Oscars). Some examples are - photoshopping any of the Oscar nominee movies (think of even combining any of these movies), showing where / how Oscar show could be held alternatively (because of writers strike, etc.), showing who could surprisingly receive Oscars (non-actors, politicians, etc).
Cars with Legs pictures -
Because of the rising cost of oil and gasoline, Americans use their cars less these holidays. Some will choose the alternative means of transport and many others will simply avoid traveling long distance.
Let's see if we can offer our solution and show cars running without gasoline -
Photoshop cars with legs or feet of any kind (from humans, animals, robots) in place of wheels.
Space Cars pictures -
NASA is launching its new spacecraft Dawn this Wednesday. Because the spacecraft is relatively compact, light, and needs only a small amount of fuel, NASA calls it the "Prius of space". Dawn is the first spacecraft that will travel to one celestial body (asteroid Vesta), study it, and then fly to another celestial body (the dwarf planet Ceres) for further research - the whole trip will take about seven years. Latest technology advances will soon allow NASA to make spacecrafts the size of cars which also use little fuel.
Design cars suitable for space missions, or turn spacecrafts into cars. Your "vehicle" can be shown in space, on the planets, or on earth (e.g. "space cars" being used in Formula 1 races.)
Green Cars pictures -
F1 McLaren car designer is designing a new eco-friendly car which runs on bio fuel, is constructed from light materials, weights just over 1000 lbs and will cost under $10,000. The designer hopes to licence this green car model to one of the major car manufacturers. If such green cars are taken into in mass production and sales, they can be considered for tax breaks and free city parking due to their low car emissions, eco friendly materials, light weight, and compact size.
Alter the design of existing cars to make them "green" (meaning eco friendly) by making their parts and materials from plants, including fruits and vegetables, or even integrate them with animals (except humans). Your entries should look more like cars with bio parts; and not as plants / animals with some car parts. Both exterior and interior car views are acceptable in this contest.

New Cars pictures -
This year at Detroit auto show, American and German car manufacturers are showing their new cars
in hopes to win back the auto market from Asian car manufacturers.
New American-German car is a hybrid between Hummer and BMW and is known as Bummer.
In this contest you are asked to help struggling car manufacturers by designing a new car which combines / includes features of other cars. Both old and new cars are allowed in this mix.
Cars for Kids pictures -

In this contest you are asked to design cars made for babies/kids. Take existing car models and redesign them to kids/babies liking - e.g. make them smaller, compact, change seat/door numbers, make larger lights, add additional devices, etc. Car paintjobs are welcome but not on their own - your cars need to be redesigned too.
Wearable Cars? pictures -

Wearable cars. I think Toyota has just answered prayers of all men whose women never know what to wear when they go out. Next time my girlfriend ask me what to wear, I'll simply suggest she wears a car, or wears nothing at all. It's a win-win situation really.
And Toyota says they see a future in wearable vehicles. I hope they mean rocket powered panties, because that's just what my girlfriend wants for Christmas. That and Tickle Me Elmo Extreme.
In this contest you are asked to photoshop people wearing parts of cars. Feel free to use celebrities and politicians as your "fashion models".
Modern Classic Cars? pictures - To fit classic car spirit in modern auto industry, create cars which would combine parts / features of modern car models and classic / antique car models.
Oscars 2006 pictures - Photoshop the 2006 Oscar nominated films any way you like - add unusual twist to movie scenes, create the advert based on a movie, magazine cover, change the actors, etc. And now that we are a year older, see what Oscars 2007 photos will show us.
Flying Cars pictures - Create images of flying cars. Designing a new flying car (with wings, jet engines, etc.) is a plus.
Cars pictures - Redesign and customize any cars or vehicle to your liking. Include either interior or exterior "enhancements" that you would like to see on automobiles and trucks.
Cars images - Make current model automobiles and trucks "more deadly" than the GM Blazer! Add weapons, guns, rocket launchers, anything you think would make your auto or truck more deadly!
Oscars pictures - Create a new, never before awarded Oscars category along with who you think the winner would be. Example for the New Oscar Category: Most Melodramatic Spiral, Winner: Yasser Arafat. Images must show the category winner holding their Academy Award statuette. And just out of curiosity you may fast forward two years and check the Oscars 2007 pictures.
Johnny Carson pictures - Johnny Carson belongs to the ages, but his image will surely be used in many ways. Photoshop how Johnny Carson's image will be used in the future. Feel free to use it to sell a product, or in movies, TV, or any other ways you can think of that will use his likeness.

I've since noticed that the original movie poster had barely visible text, so that isn't your fault.
