US-Mexican Border pictures - Show events on the US-Mexican border - guarding, smuggling, illegal

illegal border crossing will become more complicated, so feel free to
show any tricks or devices Mexicans may come up with. Feel free to
"construct" US-Mexican border and its surroundings. E.g. make a border

Those who are up for a challenge can show contrast in US and Mexico on
the opposite sides of US-Mexican border. Such entries can show
US-Mexican border "splitting" the picture in two parts - US part and
Mexican part, and show drastic contrast in life style, architecture
and/or landscapes.
Canada Colors pictures - To mark the passed Canada Day, "Canadianize" objects, famous paintings, animals, or people - include Canadian Flag or Canadian Leaf.
American Airlines pictures -
American Airlines cancelled 570 more flights this Friday, bringing its total number of this week's cancelled flights to 3,000, and the total number of bumped passengers to over 250,000. The company said it expects to cancel more flights on Saturday and possibly next week. Many fed-up travelers headed for trains and said that it's the worst management they have seen from an airline company in their lifetime. One bumped AA passenger said that it's not a coincidence that AA also stands for "Alcoholics Anonymous".

In this contest you are asked to create a perfect presidential candidate by combining any two US official candidates - left vertical half and right vertical half accordingly. We did a similar thing with celebrities in "partial face transplants" contest, now let's do this with the presidential candidates.
Scandal pictures - Design a front page cover story that caused a scandal. Stories must have at least one photoshopped image of scandal included along with a small section of newsprint to accompany the story.
American Idol pictures -
Here's the surprise news. Booted American Idol contestant Sanjaya went
to the White House Correspondents Dinner Saturday where he met President Bush.
In their quick conversation Sanjaya said he felt American audience unfairly decided that
he's not good at what he does and sank him with low ratings. Bush's reply? "I know how you feel, bud."
In this contest you are asked to photoshop anything related American Idol show. Examples may include the future of the contestants from this season, new contestants, changes in the jury or any changes to the show that you see fit - e.g. how American Idol would look if it was held in the past. Even Britney Spears no underwear could have made its way into the show, as long as you make it safe for work.

Professional Candy pictures - Obviously astronauts get to eat the "special" candy made just for space. What about other professions? Don't they deserve their own brands of candy? Create pictures of professional candy that is specific to any job.

Candy pictures - Photoshop candy by creating new candy or snacks that contain "unusual" substances or ingredients. Feel free to create slogans for your candy and snacks like used in the news story below.
Candy images - Create new or never before seen candy items including candy bars, gum, or any other candy (not chips or other snacks). Change the look or appearance, or create candy items geared to a particular type of consumer as in the news story below.
Presidential Candidate pictures - In honor of Memorial Day picnics and BBQs, photoshop President Bush or Presidential Candidate John Kerry or Ralph Nader doing some "regular guy" things. Show the candidates doing things that will help them connect with all of us "regular" folks.
Canada pictures -
Canada blocked the takeover of its leading space company MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates to US firm Alliant Techsystems. In the official statement, Canadian Industry Minister claimed that this acquisition would be against Canada's national interests, would jeopardize Canadian security and would undermine the future of Canadian space industry.
Photoshop anything related to Canada. Some examples are: give Canadian theme to any products, movies or paintings, design advertisements promoting tourism in Canada, etc.

Hurricanes in USA pictures - Unless you live (like I do) in dimly lit apartment totally isolated
from the outside world, you have seen the TV weather reports (on EVERY
DAMN CHANNEL) with warnings of Hurricane Ernesto approaching US,
reaching Category 3, and thinking about making a stop in hurricanes'
all time favorite New Orleans. Before you start panicking and packing
your suitcases however, I wish to remind you that weathermen are the
only creatures on earth that are wrong 80% of the times and still keep
their jobs. So if weathermen tell you Hurricane Ernesto will visit the US
with predicted destructions of twice the Hiroshima blast, you can go
straight to "predicted" eye of the hurricane which will be the damn
safest place on earth. Hurricanes like to watch weather forecasts the
same way we watch late-night shows, and they see weathermen as the
best damn comics this planet ever produced. Every day weather forecast
is like David Letterman's Top 10 List. Hurricanes don't want their
comic idols to get fired however, so every once in a while (yes,
those are the 20% we talked about) they give them a break and go to the
places predicted by weathermen. This time Hurricane Ernesto is
"supposed" to visit several states/places in the US - sort of a
vacation trip for a foreign hurricane. In this contest you are
asked to show what places in the US Esnesto may visit by showing
"vacation photos" of Esnesto at the US places/states it visits,-
similar to usual vacation pictures people are taking (Hey, I've been
HERE, and here, and HERE, look!) Either hurricane itself, or destruction from the hurricane has to be included in your entry picture to quality. Make the pictures postcards-like and
write the Ernesto's impression of these places on the postcards. If
you want to go even further you may address the Ernesto' postcard
messages to any famous person... or another hurricane.
E.g."Hey, Katrina, Greetings from Florida! Just a short stop here, as I hate their giant insects. If you ever stop here again, don't make eye contact to people - this is asking to be mugged. ~ Ernesto"
P.S. If you run short of ideas, think of trailer parks. Hurricanes and
trailer parks are naturally attracted to each other, sort of like
Paris Hilton and STDs.
