Portrait of a Canadian Wannabe pictures - Please let me be a mountie-- please please please. / Although as a Mountie he could be relegated to a small town in Arctic circle. / I thought Canada had strict laws to keep the rift raft out / They'd never hire him. The mounties "always get their man" but Bush can't catch Bin Laden. / Good job on the chosen Bush face expression. I wish the source images were of higher resolution though.
Old Cannon Scotch pictures - / needs a little work on the bottle masking...bottom is a little wavy. No shadows. / I like this concept very much but you will need to make a few adjustments to make it photorealistic. The lighting on the top of the bottle will need to be shown along the leading edge of the gun carriage and the top of the wheel in the forefront. The liquid within the bottle will need to be shown in the neck of the bottle as it flows forward in the inclined position. Some masking debris, top-left on the rear wheel just needs removing and rebuild the top and bottom of the bottle container so that they are true ellipses. Add some shadowing underheath the elements to finish off your work. I think the liquid in the neck of the bottle will be the most difficult to pull-off but have a try and see how you do. / , i dont have so much time to do all this
Liberty can pictures - this is my first ever submission. cc is most welcome. / Good job, with images like this you should do well Welcome onboard. / Excellent concept and smooth execution. Welcome to FN.

Mexican Currency Illusion pictures - Xochipilli was the god of love, games, beauty, dance, flowers, maize, and song in Aztec mythology. (from "Wikipedia")
Chopped Cannon pictures - And now; giving new meaning to photochopping ... / I think you are taking this contest a bit too literally Put a few score-lines on the chopping board to represent the impact of the blade on the board. Extra points if you can show some wood fibres being raised up. See if you can apply a more random wood texture to the overall board so that is not so linear and make this just a bit darker but not blurred along the edging as you currently have. Darken the handle of the knife a little where it can be seen between the fingers. The background could just be white with shadows so as not to distract from your finished work. / Chop-chop; deliberate all -- thanks for suggestions, but shadows on knife handle didn't look right before submission and the cutting "board" is plastic (photochop thickened)... but the background is a real piece of (faux) polished stone countertop I had left over from a job years ago and it's a great FLAT work surface .... the white background didn't work with the motion blur on the knife very well. Thanks,
