Light Bulbs pictures -
New York, California and Connecticut are introducing legislation that will ban the sales of traditional light bulbs, in favor of more energy efficient ones. They say the switch to compact fluorescent bulbs will cut average household's electricity bill by $400 per year. John Edwards has no plans of switching. He would rather get one less haircut instead.
In this contest you are asked to photoshop traditional light bulbs in place of anything else. Examples can be placing them instead of heads and other body parts of people, animals or even insects as in this dragonfly entry. Alternatively include light bulbs in products, paintings, replace planets, etc. For those who photoshop them in place of heads, feel free to keep hats on.

Depicting a bright idea as a light bulb can be traced back almost as far as the invention of light bulb itself. However only recently media started using "light bulb as human head" idea, which turned out to be successful, or to say literally quite... bright.
Take any celebrity, politician, or animal, and replace their head with a light bulb.
Here's a good example. Let's show what celebrities are (not) the brightest bulb in the box.

You have 3 days to submit your entry. Submitting it early will give you plenty of time to read the critique comments and edit your image accordingly.

But I like the way it works. Great abstract thinking, and execution. / Excellent idea Perhaps darken the part of the bulb thats in the enclosed palm. / Awesome. Now..... HOW many layers does it take to change a light bulb. / Seven Layers, of course.
Mime in a Light Bulb pictures - Got the idea from a comment left on another entry...also inspired by Jim Croce. And then I wrote some lyrics: If I could put a mime in a light bulb The first thing that I’d like to do Is to turn it up bright And make him lose his sight Just to have a laugh with you
Light Bulb pictures - Full View Is A Must. / The On/Off Button looks like it is floating above the foot rather than being a part of it. / If I had a baby like this, I would be FREAKED OUT... You've done a great job. / I don't get the point of the button floating, it is clear in the picture that it's not floating, please see it in full view. / i think Babaloo mean that the emboss filter that u used on it it's too hard/sharp compare with the soft texture of the foot, also bulb need to be more transparent in my opinion, but this still my fav. of this contest. Asome idea, source & execution / Very cool. Love the reflection of the second toe on the bulb. Nice touch. I agree that the button is too harsh. That's the brightest spot on the foot and this would really rock if you tweaked that. / Congrats Nilo, it's an honor share the podium with u
