Sunday marked the opening day for Major League Baseball. Dick Cheney played baseball with his lawyer. The lawyer was the ball.
In this contest you are asked to photoshop baseball any way you wish. Examples may include showing baseball in paintings, showing how this sport can be played with alternative uniforms and tools (instead of regular bats and balls), and making league stars out of celebrities and politicians.
Baseball Coffins? pictures - [In the heat of baseball season, fans now have another opportunity to
show their true colors by purchasing caskets and urns bearing logos of their favorite
baseball teams. ] You think, I'm joking, right? So I thought,
until I've seen the news. Turns out the demand for baseball-themed
coffins is huge and many fans literally want to die for their teams.
Here's what I think, folks. All of us die hard baseball fans should buy
caskets of the teams our team (Detroit Tigers) plays against. Then we
bring these caskets to a game to show what will happen to these "other
teams" - give them a sneak-preview before each game. Then, as Tigers
"bury" other teams one by one, we can all celebrate the funerals, and
leave them resting in peace until the next season. Of course when they
get out of coffins next season they will have to change their team
names - like "New York Draculas", "Boston Blood Sox", or "Philadelphia
NecroPhillies". Yeah, that's what baseball is all about - beating each
other with baseball bats and dying for a championship.
In this contest you are asked to give paint-jobs to coffins and urns
with logos of current US baseball teams. In addition to paint jobs
(but not instead of them) you may decorate (flowers, trophies) funeral
industry to make it baseball-team based.
Baseball Politicians pictures - It's time to put political leaders into baseball game. Create images of politicians playing professional baseball, in the dugout or as spectators watching the game.
Baseball pictures - What baseball advertising concepts didn't make it to the Major Leagues? Photoshop an advertising-marketing campaign that was nixed by Major League Baseball.
Baseball images - Photoshop this baseball image any way you wish. Examples may include changing its shape, merging the baseball with some other object or animal, including the baseball in paintings. These are just some ideas.
You have 3 days to submit your entry. Submitting it early will give you plenty of time to read the critique comments and edit your image accordingly.

(fixed) / like the dice entry this is a winner idea, but the red seam most have the shape of the ball, i's still look like if the ball was round / I like it because the seam is not round that is what makes it funny / great looking ball/square, still needs more work cos i don't see it as realistic as it could be / Excellent Job, but the red seam is still round in my opinion, specialy the one at the bottom... Great Job though / Nice idea and well done. You get my vote. / Congrats on a well deserved Gold Trophy

Great Work. / i do love the uniform fit on the image. but as they are under a big trees there should be a shadow added on there uniform. ( just my own opinion ). / Top shelf work. Baseball images - Touch down or Dunk it. / Solid work. The basketball's light/shade matches the rest of the picture and the ball is blurred just enough to make it look moving and caught the the snap picture. / thanks Newsy. you really surely has a supervision eye.
