Try to keep your edges as smooth as possible by varying the settings on the tool which you are using. / I suppose, redrawing the goal posts as you have done in your edit is one way to get around the masking problem in this one area but the resulting appearance is quite flat, unfortunately. / Fair work. Goal posts do look flat though.
Balloon Travel funny pictures - / The canvas texture is a bit too exaggerated, and distracts from the image. The horizon line is also extremely crooked, like the ocean is tilted and running down to the building.

You should trime taking an opaque eraser to the larger splashes so the background will show slightly. / You could try lowering the opacity of the 'fountain' layers for a more transparent look to the water. / Not too sure what I'm supposed to be seeing here.. so a bit lost. Good try tho.
