Woman In Autumn pictures - Thank you for the comments and thank you Keb for the tip. I have edited my entry. / Stunning. A beauty. Look at how the windows refceltion is done, the flying leaves, the bloody everything. Love it. / Very well done, but I'm really sick of seeing this painting. Seriously. BUT you did an excellent job. / Very beautiful. The reflection in the window is perfect. The textures & lighting are teriffic. / very cool. Are you sure you don't have 5 gold trophies I love the reflection...excellent job / Yes, I agree with all the aboue. My only critique would be to lower the contrast of the leaves that have fallen to the floor. The rest is done very nicely. / great looking painting, very realistic looking
Autumn for Mona Lisa pictures - thank you for the tipsthe make-up is now softer and looks natural. / Very nice masking on Mona Lisa. I might soften the make-up just a bit to make it look more natural. Over all you did a good job. Keep it up. / This is an awsome integration of the 2 sources, i just would let out the Mona's make-up. But as i said awsome, this have a great visual impact. / This is a very lovely integration of the two pics. However, I would tone down the brightness of her make-up just a bit....and blend it just a bit to soften it. Keep up the great work. / I love how you integrated the background. American Autumn pictures - Thank you for pointing the flaw out to me. Image is now edited. / this is just awsome, i really love the concept, execution and the final result. Great use of source and extras / i agree excellent picture, but in my opinion the background should be a little more artistic / I am in love with this entry's concept. Execution of front part is exceptional, but I agree with gali background may need some texture match to really blend with the painting. / The leaf on the man's head is "la cerise sur le gāteau ." Funny. / on my opinion..correct me if im wrong.,. i think thier should be a shadow of leaves from top of the roof or in the window. / i thought it was a rake, until I started "raking"
Autumn in New York pictures - / 1.The pic is too dark - try bumping up the brightness a few notches & adjust the contrast accordingly.That way the photo will lighten & still keep it's sharpness. 2.The 4 wheeler seems to weigh less than the leaves - it should be sunken into the leaves a bit, and being in full sunlight, their shadow should follow the same direction as the other shadows from the trees. 3.The people on the left are a bit too yellow - use the Gamma correction tool to adjust. Overall tho, it's a great idea with nice composition. / I agree with JannaR on her critique. 1. Brightness: The pedal car has bright sunlight shining on it. The background should match. 2. You could use a soft brush on a layer mask to remove the bottoms of the tires to look like they are below the leaves. remember black removes & white adds. 3. Another way is to use the Hue/Saturation sliders. To get to these click Image/Adjusments/Hue&Saturation. Move the Hue slider bar to change the color. Then use the Saturation slider to either de-saturate or saturate. Hope this helps. / I've no idea how to do Keb's 2. I'd just clone some leaves from somewhere else over the wheel bottoms. Then, I'd lay a long shadow from the cart on the ground. / to clarify #2: add a layer mask to the cart layer. Using a soft brush with the color of black, remove the tire bottoms. It will make them look sunken in the leaves. / this look nice, but i think vehicule are supposed to be a lil buried into the leaves / The couple seem to have reflections, looks like the road's wet. Too much shadow in the darkness, unless it's the moon .
Autumn park pictures - / Fantastic work. My only suggestion would be to add a bit more shadows under people and constructions to make them really belowg there. Excellent excellent masking/cropping and integration work. / and full view is absolutely a must for this one. / Very nice image. The masking looks good around the playground equipment. I would suggest anchoring the equipment to the ground more by adding another layer of black shadows. For instance, the item on the far left looks to be floating. Try using a very soft brush with black everywhere the equipment and feet touch the ground. This will make it look like it is really sitting on the ground. Also, the light source comes from the front, or it is front-lit. Some of your shadows are coming from the rear. Being consistent in the lighting direction makes an image look more realistic. / The equipment is clean & it matches the brightness & contrast of the original pic. 1.The shadows are conflicting with the shadows from the trees. Some of the kids are casting shadows into the foreground, while the equipment is casting shadows towards the back. 2.The equipment doesn't seem to be anchored down. - Try adding a bit of darkness just where it touches the ground, then 'draw up' a few leaves to hide the squared off ends of the pipes. 3. The swingset in the center-right of the pic is totally floating up into the trees, making the whole perspective of the playground equipment off. - Cut it away from the rest of the equipment. I'd leave it out entirely. We shouldn't be able to see the top of it as tho we were looking down at it. Overall it's a very playful image, capturing all the beauty of Autumn. / This is fun. Like Janna says, dump the floating swingset, you've still got plenty without it. Try playing a with the contrast on the playground & kids layer - more contrast might make it stand out more / nice integration, but why the girl at the up side at left are so small. / nicely done, opened up the full image, I notice that the red swing set is in midair. I would move it down to the ground or take it out so it look more realistic. / excellent work with the shadows, and the picture is great too / Nice . Logically the adventure playground wouldn't cross the path.
Autumn Puzzle pictures - This looks better, I think. The pattern on the parquet was in fact due to saw-marks, but a bit distracting. Started from the edges this time, not to be left with tiny pieces at the bottom. (NB for M. Gregory : The longest part of this was of course putting all the pieces back together again) / nice, but the right and bottom side of the puzzle, the pieces are small and uneven compare to other pieces. Try to make all pieces even so it look more realistic. Other than that, nice.. / Luvu4 is correct. The puzzle looks cut off. Also, there seems to the repeating pattern of a cloning tool on the table in the left foreground. Teriffic idea tho. / pieces look kind fat, also the lower parts are too small, some of it without logica shape. Idea is nice also good use of shadows. / Great idea. I'm not even sure how you did it. "Bevel and emboss" layer effects for sure, but what about the puzzle pieces. Janna, I believe that repeating pattern you see is saw marks on the wood. / I think the pattern is only the problem here but I credit you for the idea. good job / I like it much better after the edit. This looks professionally done. And I at comment about author's comment about putting pieces together / Well done. Keep it up and you soon won't be allowed to play here. / i know i commented before but i see now u croped the image, now it look not centrated. In my oppinion more convas would help at the visual focus and impact / nice photoshop effects..i've seen this on one of photoshop .book. good.
Pacman in Autumn pictures - I have edited the color of the ghost to blue and I lowered the contrast on the three images added. / Perhaps you could drop the contrast of the 3 added items. Shadows are nicely done. / Cute idea....just one small thing tho. I would have made the ghost a different color, so that he would stand out just a bit against the greenery in the background. / Much better. Now your additions really POP.
Autumn fishing pictures - / Very creative, but the pond looks odd... sort of like a UFO sitting there. The perspective is off just a tad. Like we're looking down on it, rather than across it. And what's up with the gunslinger over there with a stop sign. (Which the light is shining on the wrong side of.) It seems totally extraneous. / I agree with JannaR, try to study the perspective and the source of light. / best of luck mr fisherman, but you wont catch anything in there / I agree with Janna & Nilo. Also, I can't tell if you meant that to be reflections or fallen twigs in the water. If reflections, they're too sharp and bright. / I agree with Janna & Nilo.
