Picasso Celebrities pictures -
Duch Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Maxima
have comissioned their portrait in the Picasso's trademark cubist style. The portrait was done by
the famous Dutch copycat painter Geert Jan Jansen and is on display in Zeist Castle in the centre of the Netherlands in the exhibition called "Net Echt". The English translation of the exhibition is "Just Like Real". Picasso was often told by people whose portraits he painted that they showed little resemblance. Picasso would always reply "Just wait, in 10 years there will be more resemblance".
Photoshop celebrities and politicians the way Pablo Picasso would depict them if he used the power of photoshop to create his works, rather than paint and brushes. Please use celebrity photos as source images, rather than paintings. Feel free to give your celebrities the famous Picasso cubist style (see one quick example), or his other styles like in example 2, and example 3.
Please don't forget to include celebrity names in your entries.
Classic Mercedes Benz pictures - Photoshop this classic Mercedes Benz image (CLICK HERE to download) any way you wish. Examples may include merging this classic Mercedes Benz with some objects or animals; placing classic Mercedes Benz into some environment, movies, paintings. These are just some ideas.
You have 3 days to submit your entry. Submitting it early will give you plenty of time to read the critique comments and edit your image accordingly.

Eye Glasses pictures -
These holidays, the sales of prank eyeglasses are up, which have plastic human eyes attached to the frames with springs. When these fake eyes pop out it gives a special meaning to the phrase "eye glasses".
Let's design glasses which would actually have human eyes in the frames, similar to how it's done in prank eyeglasses with fake plastic eyes (but with no springs please). Some examples may be showing celebrities and politicians wearing such glasses with their eyes, or with somebody's else eyes. You are welcome to make the eyes bigger or change their shape somewhat to fit the frames.
Gender Reassignment pictures -
Cate Blanchett is playing a legendary singer Bob Dylan in a new movie "I'm Not There". This role is one of the most controversial, difficult, and at the same time interesting roles for Cate Blanchett where she had to change her gender on screen both in appearance and mentally.
Another most recent "gender reassignment" was successfully done by John Travolta in the movie "Hairspray."
In real life, thousands of people undergo sex reassignment surgeries every year.
Your today's mission is to perform gender reassignment "surgeries" with the help of Photoshop
rather than with a surgeon's scalpel. Your patients have to be celebrities, politicians or any famous figures - e.g. characters from paintings and you need to show them as the opposite gender. The voters will show how successful your operation was.
Eyeglasses pictures -
Chicago firefighters are calling for the biggest collection of eyeglasses in history to donate them to those who are in need of glasses but can not afford to purchase them in third countries. Owners of old prescription glasses and sunglasses can drop them at any of the 97 Fire Houses across the state by the end of summer (September). Centuries after the invention of eyeglasses they remain too expensive to afford for many people in developing countries.
Add eyeglasses or sunglasses to works of art (paintings, statues, drawings) and show us how famous characters in those paintings would look in usual or strange eyeglasses or shades. To spark your inspiration, think of all the Elton John's glasses donated to Mona Lisa and others.
Picasso pictures -
I can't think of an educated person (except for my art teacher) who
hasn't heard of Pablo Picasso. The great Spanish painter and sculptor
was born on October 25, 1881, and is known mostly for his cubism art.
To be more precise, Picasso, along with Georges Braque, was a
co-founder of cubism.
A man once criticized Pablo for creating
unrealistic art. Picasso asked him: "Can you show me some realistic
art?" The man showed him a photograph of his wife. Picasso observed:
"So your wife is two inches tall, two-dimensional, with no arms and no
legs, and no color but only shades of gray?"
Besides artistic talent,
Pablo had a sharp sense of humor.
He was once asked why he never had any of his paintings hanging on his
walls. "I can't afford them", answered Pablo.
In this contest you are asked to show how Picasso's art would
change if he created them these days. Feel free to promote products,
people, countries, or events with Picasso's "modernized" art. Additionally you are allowed to photoshop real-life people, animals, and objects with Picasso-style distortions - moved face parts, cubically distorted, etc.
Odd Glasses pictures - Put strange or goofy glasses on celebrities and/or politicians. Feel free to design new unusual models of glasses. If you design a new model, it can be shown separately, or on a person.
Modern Classic Cars? pictures - To fit classic car spirit in modern auto industry, create cars which would combine parts / features of modern car models and classic / antique car models.
Embarrassing pictures - Create realistic looking memos or documents that might be embarrassing to a celebrity or politician - historical or current.
Yasser Arafat Investments pictures - How did the investments by Arafat impact businesses operated that we know or don't know about? Create images of what an investment by Yasser Arafat and his financial advisers might have done to the way a business operates and how it might influence their products and services. Almost a BILLION dollars!
Picasso pictures - Take any paintings of Picasso and include celebrities and politicians there.
Yasser Arafat pictures - Obviously, Yasser is a nervous man and will start moving around disguised. Your mission is to photoshop an image of a disguise that Arafat will be wearing in order to evade any potential attempts on his life.
Yasser Arafat images - Today you are Yasser Arafat's imagemaker. Suggest what Yasser should do in order to improve his public image to stay in the office.

Fabulous. / The glassmaker returns with another great entry. You must have quite the collection of these by now. The detail of the eyelashes is the only thing which looks remotely out of place in comparison to the geometric shapes within the rest of the image but I wouldn't change it as I can't see how you could really do it differently in this case. Sure to place well. / Yeah, the eyelashes were a puzzlement on how to do them. They are so much a part of her "signature" that I had to have them in the glass. I tried a using lighter (thinner) leading line for them, but I didn't like that result. I'm so tickled that you all like her. I think she's my favorite glass of them all. / As a person who works real stained glass, all I can say is ZA. / I know. I did one of the Cheshire cat and was dreaming about it. Nice work. It would help to add the plastic effect on the black lines to make it look even more real. / Top job here.
