Seniors in the U.S. Army pictures - If you see grandmas and grandpas carrying machine guns and wearing khaki - don't worry - they are just new army recruits (unless you see them in the Bronx, where it's just a tradition). [ US Army has raised the enlistee age limit to bring older recruits and meet its recruiting goals. "Lots of older people are fit and are living longer, and they figure they can do this. We have been very satisfied with the older recruits so far," said a spokesman for the U.S. Army Recruiting Command.] Come to think of it there are at least some benefits for the seniors to join the army:
1) They stay fit by doing drills and eating healthy food (sorry, no McDonald's in the army for you, grandma).
2) They can travel to exciting new places, meet interesting new people, and kill them.
3) In a hostage situation they are likely to be released first.
4) If they have a party, sergeants
won't even realize it.
5) Top army secrets are safe with senior recruits
because they can't remember them anyway.
6) Army commanders find it easier to control senior recruits because their supply of brain cells is finally down to a manageable size.

In this contest you are asked photoshop senior, older people in the military, or create promotional materials (billboards, adverts, etc.) for recruiting older people to the U.S. military. Your entries have to relate to the US military (Army, Navy, Air Force or Marines) only, no other countries please (they did not approve older folks in the army yet!)

Global Warming pictures - Scientists from around the world gathered Monday in Paris at global warming summit to discuss the rising global temperatures and rising sea levels. Global warming Summit. The summit is on... the brains are crunching... The Pope himself attended the summit and said if temperatures get any higher the good people will go to heaven and the bad people will go to Florida.In this contest we ask you to break out your best and show us what effects global warming will have on the world. An example would be hula girls in Alaska or snow capped Hawaiian islands or effects of a hundred year storm.

there's lots of unfairness here. I love to butt people, but I get my

with it. The good news is that I'm growing a goatee and turning into
an old goat, then moving to Britain, where I intend to join the army,
butting everyone. That way if someone asks me why I'm butting them I
can always say: "Whadddaaya wa-a-a-a-nt? I'm a goat-damn
goa-a-a-a-t."

Show what life would be like with extreme global warming. Think of temperatures so high that could melt buildings and objects, make animals look fried, eggs in nests get boiled or fried, drinks go vaporized, etc...

Farmhouse pictures - I had only just completed the renovation - and they moved in. / I like it, but those damn Amish people stole that porch chair from the house five doors down. They should give it back. / What I love about this entry, is that it looks closer to original house than any other entries in this contest. This is truly a renovation of the house we see on the source picture. Brilliantly done work, one of my favorites in this contest. My only criticism is the trees/leaves - which fit perfectly, but use low resolution source. Still I love this. Many small details added which take this from great entry to being an outstanding entry. / Ditto What Newsmaster said, this is a great entry.... / This is JUST EXCELLENT, a definate winner in my eyes, congrats... / good adding of trees and landscaping. But i think if you just put a new doors and windows and roofs as what the theme said this will standout more. (just my own opinion). still nice concept. / Looks like my grandma and her crew moved in to your place.
