Armed Forces of Canada pictures - Original Here / I like it, though would have looked nice centred more-so / Interesting, different. Wish you'd explained in the comments what the various things stood for -just out of my Canadian curiosity. / Does the broken rusty sword represent the armed forces. The anchor (Navy) is broken, the bird, (Air Force) has a cut wing. Have the Canadians been cutting back on their armed services. / Good eye for detail, Azure Sky - the Canadians did cut back a lot, and are just beginning (supposedly) to rebuild and have been given more money. Right now we could probably defend ourselves against - a Boy Scout troop. /

Swiss Army pictures - Handy dandy indeed / The idea really deserves a merit. I wish the source pictures were less blurry and masking was more accurate. / Agree with Newsy. The suit isn't quite as sharp as the knife parts.
Arms Treaty Broken pictures - Russia pulls out of arms treaty in missile feud The Conventional Forces in Europe Treaty was signed by Russian and NATO members in 1990, when Soviet and NATO troops faced off in Central Europe. Source / Nice pun : (arm/arms .) The USSR no longer exists. The message is incoherent. Why is the kid's arm ripped off . / It has multiple levels of symbolism that encompass the entire lead story. The arms treaty was signed during the Reagan era when the Soviet Union CCCP still existed (notice the background is crumpled and yellowed, see full size.) The kid's arm symbolizes the new generation's ideas and the arms treaty. The background represents the and old generation's ideas and the arms treaty (iron fist on aged paper). Bush's missile plan was cited as the primary reason that broke the arms treaty, thus the arm has been broken in the current age, while wrestling over the missile issue. That's just one way to see it, and I'm sure there's many others Russia suspends arms pact, citing US missile plan / congrats Chopmaker, as natural... awesome execution.
Global Warming pictures - The Almighty is just having some fun..Story / a very good idea. but if that's our mother earth, what is that clouds doing thier....maybe you just put the planet only and try to show that its inside the microwave.( my own OP only). / nice idea but clouds shouldn't be there... / Is global warming the reason everyone is reporting record lows ... and to think in the 70's we were entering a NEW Ice-age
