Yesterday was "Johnny Appleseed Day" in the United States. Johnny Appleseed was a real person and was among the settlers. As he moved across the country he planted apple trees along the way and sold the trees to settlers. These days, most apple trees across the United States are the descendants of the first apple trees Johnny Appleseed once planted.
To honor Johnny Appleseed, photoshop apples any way you wish. Some examples are - show what life would be like if apples ruled, show creative uses for apples; merge apples with other objects, fruits and vegetables; apples in movies and paintings, etc.
From Apple II to iPod pictures - To celebrate Apple's 30th birthday, photoshop anything related to Apple company or products - feel free to create new Apple products, adverts, magazine covers, etc.
Pineapple pictures - Photoshop this pineapple image any way you wish. Examples may include changing its shape, merging the pineapple with some other fruit, object or animal, including the pineapple in paintings. These are just some ideas.
You have 3 days to submit your entry. Submitting it early will give you plenty of time to read the critique comments and edit your image accordingly.

Apple pictures - HAVE A BITE please fullview for clarity. / very nice idea and execution, kind dark but cool / I think the laces are too dark or green. Baseball laces are red. They also don't follow the contour of the apple near the top where the stem is. ( just my own opinion ) / I would make it a bit lighter, but still a quality work.
