In this contest, you are asked to change the haircuts and hairstyles of celebrities, politicians, or characters from famous works of art. Make them crazy, outlandish, impossible, or just plain unusual. Break out those virtual combs, scissors and sculpting gel as shown in the theme post.
Anyone with less than 5 gold trophies of any type on their desk is welcome to participate in this Hairstyle Apprentice contest.

Airline Paint Jobs pictures -
With the rising cost of fuel, airlines are looking for all possible ways to offset their costs. More and more airline companies agree to commercial paint jobs to display advertisements on the inside or outside parts of airplanes, effectively turning their aircrafts into marketing machines.
Show what creative paint jobs airlines could have on the inside or outside of airplanes. Any airline paint jobs are allowed in this contest: commercial, graffiti, or even arts and paintings. You can use any existing airlines or create a new carrier if you wish. You can find some good examples of Airline Paint Jobs in the apprentice contest we ran some time ago.

John Edwards has his hair done every week and spends $400 per haircut. He says he feels like a new man after each hairdo. Here's the real news - yesterday he was voted off the American Idol.
In this contest you are asked to photoshop hairstyles of celebrities and politicians to improve (or not) their public image. Hairstyles assume at least some hair, thus images of completely bald people will be disqualified (partially bald is allowed). We will also accept entries with wigs and toupees. It would be interesting to know what kind of haircut Milf hunter has.
Celebrity Hairstyles pictures - Photoshop celebrity hairstyles by showing what our favorite celebrities and politicians - man and women - would look with their hair styles completely changed? Create images of our favorite celebrities and politicians with their new hairstyles - any type of hairсге that is unusual for them.
Airport pictures - Photoshop what other formalities foreigners may have to go through at any U.S. airport from now on.
Airbus A380 pictures -
Today will go into history as the date of the first commercial air flight of Airbus A380. The flight was done from Singapore to Sydney with Singapore Airlines and was fully booked in advance. The tickets for this flight were sold in advance at an auction - ranging from thousands of dollars for economy class seat to dozens of thousands of dollars for business class seat. Even though you can not really call it a "seat" in upper business class (there are three classes) - it is a separate room with a bed.
Airbus A380 is the biggest passenger aircraft in the world, and is nicknamed "Superjumbo" for its size and seating capacity of up to 853 people. This Airbus model took years and billions of dollars to design; each unit costs about $320 million to manufacture.
There are currently only 10 units of Airbus A380, with
Singapore Airlines being the primary user.

Some examples are - redesigning it one way or another (giving the aircraft more round shape, or more square shape, etc.), merging Airbus A380 with some other objects, giving is some paint jobs, or even including it into old paintings. You may also consider photoshopping magazine covers showing the first Airbus A380 flight on the Moon, Mars, etc.

Celebrity Hairstyles pictures - Create new celebrity hairstyles, or new and preferrably unusual hair styles for politicians or well-known faces.
American Airlines pictures -
American Airlines cancelled 570 more flights this Friday, bringing its total number of this week's cancelled flights to 3,000, and the total number of bumped passengers to over 250,000. The company said it expects to cancel more flights on Saturday and possibly next week. Many fed-up travelers headed for trains and said that it's the worst management they have seen from an airline company in their lifetime. One bumped AA passenger said that it's not a coincidence that AA also stands for "Alcoholics Anonymous".
Photoshop demotivational posters mentioning American Airlines one way or another.
Try to make them mimic the classic motivational posters format like in these examples - black background, image in the middle, followed by the title word(s), and demotivational message below. NOTE: as an exception to our rules, in this contest you are allowed to recycle any of your previous entries of FN and use it for the central image in your demotivational poster. Remember that your entry in this contest HAS to refer to American Airlines, and include the title word(s) and a de-motivational text message, like in the examples above.
Super-sized Airplanes pictures - Super-size existing models of airplanes / aircrafts, or create your own airplane / aircraft model of huge proportions.
Airplane Houses? pictures - Create images of houses with plane parts integrated into them. The houses can be in flight or on the ground.
Airline pictures - Photoshop new methods of protecting an airline or airplane from terrorists.
Tony Blair pictures -
This Thursday in England Tony Blair announced his resignation as leader of the Labour Party and started a 50 day countdown to his resignation as prime minister post in July.
He plans to come back to law practicing and become a goodwill ambassador to Africa. That's what poor Africa needs right now - more lawyers.
This will mark the end of ten years he's held the office.
In this contest you are asked to photoshop Tony Blair any way you like. An example may be showing what he will do next, after he resigns as prime minister.
Feel free to use paintings, or photos as your sources.
Wheelchair pictures -
A 21 year old Ben Carpenter from Michigan took a wild ride on his wheelchair at 50 mph. The ride started when his electric wheelchair was accidentally pushed down the highway by a trailer. Secured by a seat belt, Carpenter traveled for several miles, was unharmed, and said he rather enjoyed the ride.
In this contest you are asked to modify any wheelchair (motorized or not) to make them stronger, faster and possibly bigger. Your wheelchair model can be made for traveling on ground, water or air. Merging wheelchairs with parts of other vehicles, airplanes, or spacecrafts is welcome.
Budget Airlines pictures - What can budget airlines and other air carriers do in order to improve their profitability? Create images of how you think they can reduce costs or change their service in order to improve their profits and stay in business.
Hairspray, Chuck and Larry, & Harry Potter pictures -
This week's movie boxoffice winners are -
"I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" by Universal Pictures topping the boxoffice, "Hairspray" by New Line Cinema coming in second, and "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" by Warner Bros. holding the third place.
Your mission is to merge any of the above three movies - "Hairspray," "Chuck and Larry," "Harry Potter" - into one film (you can also merge all three of them). Cross-place cast crew, come up with new movie titles, or design a sequel -- all in the form of movie stills, posters, or even magazine covers. Let it rip!
Renaissance Airlines pictures -
The U.S. Department of Transportation has concluded that major U.S. airlines do not provide customers with timely information on delayed and canceled flights. Airlines issued a statement blaming the delays on one customer of theirs: "Time flies."
In this contest you are asked to bring the elements of modern air travel industry into the old paintings. Photoshop airplanes, airlines, stewardesses, etc. on the old masterpieces.
Budget Airlines to Merge pictures - The world's best-known budget airlines Virgin and EasyJet are about to merge. The new airline will be called EasyVirgin.
In this contest you are asked to create low-budget no-frills version of any airline by showing any cost-cutting methods for the airline. Examples include worn-out aircrafts, cheap stewardess clothes, tiny airline food, reduced space between passenger seats, etc.
Aircraft pictures - Photoshop any new aircraft by combining airplanes (or the parts from planes or helicopters) with anything else to simply create new and unique flying aircraft machines.
Airline pictures - Well, it looks like United Airlines will have to make some changes and cuts in order to stay in business. Photoshop advertisements or images that show what changes the airline will have to make to survive.
Airlines pictures - Create images of an "armed" Airlines Industry. Weaponize anything normally associated with airline travel, from pilots to planes.
Delta Airlines pictures -
Delta Airlines and Northwest Airlines announced that they are merging into one carrier. The merger was approved by the director boards of both companies this week. This merger will create the world's biggest carrier valued at over $17 billion. The combined airline will be called Delta, will be based in Atlanta and Delta's CEO Richard Anderson will head the combined company.
Let us imagine that Delta and Northwest combine not only companies but actually their airplanes too.
Photoshop Delta and Northwest AIRPLANES merged together one way or another. Some examples are: place one plane on top of another (vertically), or next to each other (front view, horizontally), create tandem airplane (one long airplane with two sets of wings), etc.
Airline Mergers pictures - US Airways may be looking for another company to buy after talks with Delta ended earlier this week. US Airways CEO Doug Parker said bankrupt airlines are particularly attractive because they make it easier to boost profits. A bankrupt airline can get out of expensive contracts and leases and put pressure on unions to renegotiate contracts. I don't know about you, but if I was going to Hawaii, instead of flying on one of his airlines, I'd drive.
In this contest we are asking you to photoshop any airline merger. What we would like to see is airlines merging with other companies besides airlines. Some examples would be SouthWestinghouse or Fly The Friendly Skies of WalMart.

Insect Aircrafts? pictures - Scientists are now using aerodynamics of flies to improve the design
of future aircrafts. (You can read the whole story by scrolling down.)
OK, everyone knows that flies are rocket scientists (at least the ones
in my apartment) when it comes to flying. They have figured out flight long before humans did and they still do it better. Still,
using a fly as a model for designing an airplane is the same as using a cockroach as a model for designing a new car. Chances are,
these two will look like a giant fly and a giant cockroach from those
old Japanese movies with Godzilla. Airports will look like piles of
**** with humongous flies on them, and parking places will look like
cockroach-infested hotels in the Bronx. All that, thanks to our scientists
who are inspired by the fascinating flight of a fly (or by a wonderful
run of a cockroach).
In this contest you are asked to photoshop modern airplanes to make them look like any flying insects, by giving them (flying) insect paint jobs, and/or reshaping them and giving them new features. Your submissions have to be airplanes looking like flying insects, and not vise versa.
P.S. I asked the flies in my apartment what they think about an aircraft designed on a fly-prototype, but they just sat there quietly giggling at me.
Wheelchairs, Walkers, Crutches pictures - Customize wheelchairs, walkers, crutches or any other mobility products or any assisted living devices used by people with disabilities and/or injuries. Focus on improving them, adding additional functions or anything else you can think of.
