You all rock. Thanks so much. Does anyone else think this was a tough contest to judge, like me. For once I was stumped. That source pic was a challange. I mean the bottom half seemed like the sculptor went on lunch break, had a few beers, came back and thought, " Awww heck, I gotta do legs. Screw it, I'll just chip out some lines and nobody will ever know the difference." Then the background was rather uninteresting and vague and I commend the artists that tried to fix that. In close-up photography where the subject is in focus and the background is blurred a general rule is the subject should command around 80% of the image surface. So boy did this source pose a challange. I bet some of you noticed that too and scratched your heads. This contest was really about who could boil the best soup from rocks and some turned out to be remarkable cooks. I am very pleased to be counted in that kitchen. Whomever came up with the source pic, awesome job. Make it tough and that will make us reach a little deeper for our magic. Now that this acceptance speach is finally coming to a close, I bid you all magnificent chops, good health and surprise fortune in your futures.
