| | A woman in Sydney, Australia, is suing a hospital -- after a pair of scissors were left in her abdomen for over 18 months after she had surgery. The woman, Pat Skinner, is 62. She told national radio in Australia that the doctors had given her a clean bill of health following the surgery. Over the course of 18 months following the surgery Skinner complained of ever worsening abdominal and back pain. In time, the pain became unbearable. It was then that doctor's ordered an x-ray which revealed the scissors left in her abdomen. |
