| Wonder Woman is a heroine of DC comics, an Amazonian princess (based on the Amazons from Greek mythology).
History from the comics:
Diana was born and brought up on Themyscira in a purely female dominated society. Her mother – Hyppolyta is the Amazonian Queen. Amongst the Amazonians, Princess Diana is famous, while at the time “Male World” uses the name Princess Diana. Diana runs away from Themyscira in spite of the ban imposed by her mother, borrowing armor and the Lasso of Truth. She joins the League (then simply a group of superheroes) upon the request of J’onn J’onzz. She has the forces of the gods: super force, speed, stamina and the ability to fly and appealing to the gods (usually Ares) in times of necessity, Diana reinforces the fighting spirit. She had a brief romantic affair with Batman. To some extent, Wonder Woman counterbalances the female eagle. Wonder Woman is a member of the Justice League.
Wonder Woman in the game Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe:
In the Universal Mortal Kombat, Wonder Woman finds three powerful artifacts: the sword of Ashrah, the shield of the Gods and the gold amulet Quan Chi. With these three artifacts, the Amazonian army can easily protect the Earth from intrusion.
