Clark has spent months trying to win the nomination away from Kerry. A joint appearance has been scheduled for Friday between the two men in Madison, Wisconsin. It is anticipated that Clark will endorse Kerry at that time. Kerry has become the runaway front runner in the race for the Democratic nomination.
