Contest Directions: It seems these days you can marry not just about anyone, but everything too. A Swedish woman fell in love with the Berlin Wall and married it. The "Berlin Wall family" is reportedly very happy and "they" even started their own site. The woman is now known as Eija-Riitta Berliner-Mauer (Mrs. Berlin Wall).
Photoshop weddings of people to non-people (objects, buildings, vegetables, etc.), or non-people to non-people (e.g. electric socket marrying screwdriver, animals marrying other animals, etc.). If you need a quick inspiration, imagine what celebrities would marry a vegetable.
Many thanks to AzureSky for the news and contest idea.

This contest is fueled by the following news: From Adam's time the man to acquire complete harmony in the life, he must find his own Eve. The traditional marriage is known since the times of Ancient Rome, but along with it there was a form of a marriage where the purchase of a bride also existed. The bride was bought already when yet there was no monetary circulation, the cattle (for the bride was given a certain quantity of heads of large and small horned livestock) were a price criterion. From the works of Homer it is known, that the tradition of the purchase of the bride existed already during his time. Later, with agriculture development, the bride had began to be bought for a crop As the symbolical deed of tradition, buying the bride for a long time remained in Ancient Rome. On the wedding, the man came with scales on which in the presence of witnesses the bride threw a coin. For resolving possible marriage conflicts in the Ancient world, clay placards were used, some writer, sitting at the city gate, put in the text of the marriage contract. If a marriage contract was not concluded with a woman she was not considered as a wife. In due course, the position of woman in society changed, here came up a certain form of marriage with a dowry. Weddings with a dowry are known from 135 BC, and the husband, who desires to abandon his wife, should return the dowry to her. Weddings with a dowry were practiced in Egypt and Athens. The age of the future wives during ancient times was very young. Fathers aspired to give out the daughters as soon as possible, sometimes even before sexual maturity. In Ancient Egypt, in imperial dynasties, many child marriages are known. The tradition of bride abduction has deep historical roots. From the epics we know, that even the gods of Olympus preferred a wedding over abduction. A hindrance for abduction was not even the full consent of the bride to marriage. Along with abduction there was also a custom to carry the bride through a house threshold, to deceive the demons. Wedding accessories: Wedding Veil: It is one of the most important accessories of the wedding dress. Nowadays there are so many types and styles of veils available in the market. You can be assured that your wonderful head is not left uncovered. So, the multilayered long veil is offered for your attention. This suits any type of wedding dress, except the shorter ones. It is often made as a bunch of colors which covers the high hair dress. Its length is compatible with the length of the dress, or is much longer. In the second case, helpers will be required who can follow you everywhere, holding the edges of the veil in their hands so as to prevent it running along the ground. If your wedding day is hectic with a busy schedule (walks, driving and other activities), it is advisable not to chose the veil with a loop exceeding 0.5 - 1 m from the edge of the dress. The multi-layer veil is very popular these days. It can be of any length. Its main feature is that, during certain moments (in the registry office, in church) the bride can cover her face with one of the layers of such s veil. Remember, how this is done in films? "And now, the groom and the bride can kiss each other." The groom lifts the veil, and they join in the first family kiss. What a romance!
