  • Little Girl Bridesmaids on Bridge

    Little Girl Bridesmaids on Bridge
        • Aw, like the idea cute. However next time try and keep the girls proportions relative to the background. Like the railing should be taller than the girls. But good effort.
        • I thought so too. I don't have any idea why, but when I first saw theis one I thought of that song by Enigma, "Return to Innocense"

        • very freaking clever and well chopped!
I like how you added the guy running to them in the background
        • one nit-pick. The left shoulder of the left girl is somewhat blurry and deformed compared to her right shoulder
        • Guy running is yelling, "Wait, don't jump, leave your jewelry first!" hahahaha disturbing chop! But always real looking
        • jumping into marriage is never the answer
  • Bridesmaids Walking on a Beach

    Bridesmaids Walking on a Beach
        • Very nicely done! Love the footprints in the sand!
        • Nifty composition, good job on the foot prints
        • Really an awesome remake, and it looks so real.
One small nit-pick: Blur the ride's silhouette a tad - extreme sharpness make him look flat
        • Maybe so but honestly Newsy I think you might want to comment on how she is lifting her dress or the fact that she has a bare foot with sand on it, and the bottom of the dresses and is not wearing a pump which no women would wear in the sand, or possibly the drag marks in the sand from the dresses, but whatever.

        • Thanks Sunshin3, its too bad that this didn't even finish in the top 10.
        • DD, I wished to mention the details you said, they were already perfect though, and deserved an admiration, not critique
        • Sorry Newsy, I did blur the horseman and it is better. I just never focused on him. Like I mentioned to Sunshin3, Im just disappointed that it didn't even top 10 and I think Spinner hit it on the head with his comment.

Consider using photoshop though - it's a much better program. I see masking on the girls could use some improvement. It's much easier to work on masking in photoshop.

This contest is fueled by the following news: The Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton: Westminster Abbey was built in the year 960 and has its special status and is known as "Royal Property". Though, the Abbey was a traditional place for coronations since 1066, only recently it became the church for royal weddings; till 1918, the majority of royal weddings took place in royal chapels such as the Chapel Royal in St. James Palace and St. George's chapel in Windsor Castle. The Abbey can accommodate 2000 persons and became the venue of the last royal weddings, including the wedding of Elizabeth II (then Princess Elizabeth) and prince Phillip (1947), Princess Margaret and Anthony Armstrong-Johns (1960), Princess Anne and Mark Phillips (1973) and Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson (1986). As part of the decoration for the ceremony, the avenue, consisting of 6m trees, six field maples in two rows located on either side of main passage, was created in Abbey. Bride's Side: Contrary to royal tradition, Prince Harry, brother of the groom, was his best man instead of being a "supporter" while the bride chose her sister, Pippa, to be the maid of honour. Two page boys and four bridesmaids participated in the ceremony: Lady Louise Windsor 7 yr-old daughter of the Earl and Countess of Wessex ; The Honourable Margarita Armstrong-Jones 8-yr old daughter of Viscount and Viscountess Linley; Grace van Cutsem 3-yr old daughter of Hugh van Cutsem, a friend of couple; Eliza Lopes 3-yr old grand daughter of the Duchess of Cornwall; William Lowther-Pinkerton 10yr old son of Major Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, the private secretary of Prince William; Tom Pettifer 8-yr old son of the former nanny of Princes William and Harry "Tiggy" Pettifer. Wedding costumes: Bride's wedding dress: The wedding dress, designed by English designer Sarah Burton from the fashion house of Alexander McQueen, was stitched from satin and was made up of a lacy bodice and skirt. The hand-made lacy bodice was stitched by using Irish techniques, popular during the 1820s, the essence of which concluded in cutting in the rose forms, thistles, daffodils and shamrocks and then fixing them individually to the ivory coloured silk tulle. These laces were made at the Royal school of needlework in Hampton Court. The veil was held by a tiara from Cartier, made in 1936 and was given to the bride by the Queen. It was bought by the Queen's father, the Duke of York (later king George VI) for his Duchess (later Queen Elizabeth and the Queen Mother) three weeks before inheriting the throne from his brother Edward VIII (Duke of Windsor). Princess Elizabeth (now the Queen), got his tiara as a gift from her mother on her 18th birthday. To keep the wedding customs like "something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue", Middleton's dress had traditional laces - "old", diamond earrings from her parents were "new", the tiara of the Queen - "borrowed" and blue ribbon, which was stitched up in the bodice was "blue". The footwear was also from Alexander McQueen and had laces matching the dress, made by the Royal school of needlework. The wedding bouquet from myrtle, lilies, carnations and hyacinths were designed by Shane Connolly. Groom and his best man: Prince William was in the uniform of the Irish guards with a forage cap instead of a bearskin cap. As a serving captain of the Royal Air Force, who also has the equivalent ranks of lieutenant in the Royal Navy and an Army captain, William could choose a uniform of any of these junior officer ranks. However, on February, 10, 2011 he was appointed as colonel of the Irish Guards and he preferred to wear the full dress of his regiment. As Knight of Order of the Garter, he wore a dark blue riband and wings of Royal Air Force and the golden Jubilee medal were fixed to the blue riband. The uniform was stitched and designed by Kashket and Partners. William did not have a sword, as he was entering the church. Prince Harry wore the captain's uniform of the Blues and Royals, with a forage cap with a symbol of the Most Noble Order of the Garter. Harry was wearing aiguillettes, a cross-belt and gold belt with slings for a sword but actually was without a sword. The wings of the Army Air Corps, Gold Jubilee and Afghanistan medals were worn by Prince Harry, the best man of Prince William. Wedding service: The Dean of Westminster, John Hall, held the major part of the service along with Dr Rowan Williams, arch bishop of Canterbury, who conducted the wedding and Richard Chartres, Bishop of London, who gave the sermon. Traditionally, weddings of both present and future monarchs of England are conducted by the archbishop of Canterbury - who is the most senior bishop of the Church of England. Richard Chartres, the Bishop of London is a close friend of the Prince of Wales and conducted the confirmation of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
