Wearable Cars? Pictures GalleryAdvanced Photoshop Pictures Gallery - 10 image entries
Contest Directions:
This week at 2006 Geneva Auto Show, Toyota featured its newest creation - a car that you put on and wear. Named "i-Swing", the electric car can travel on three or two wheels, and its body is made of polyurethane and covered in fabric — to soften the impact if it bumps into people, Toyota says.
Wearable cars. I think Toyota has just answered prayers of all men whose women never know what to wear when they go out. Next time my girlfriend ask me what to wear, I'll simply suggest she wears a car, or wears nothing at all. It's a win-win situation really.
In this contest you are asked to photoshop people wearing parts of cars. Feel free to use celebrities and politicians as your "fashion models".

| | This contest is fueled by the following news: |
| | Believe it or not, the Toyota Motor Corp. has announced the creation of a so-called wearable electric car at the Tokyo Motor Show. The car actually does resemble a comfortable armchair and sits on three wheels. In addition, the little runabout comes with a virtual friend or companion that is programmed to learn a particular driver's tastes and personality. The Toyota Corporation of Japan has said that the car, called i-swing, is meant to be more than a "cold machine." The car is designed for use on both sidewalks and roadways. The car can travel on two or three wheels. It is constructed of polyurethane and is covered in fabric. It is designed in such a way to soften the impact should it run into people. The President of Toyota, Katsuaki Watanabe, rode in an i-swing for his meeting with reporters. He said he does see a future in wearable vehicles ... cars that can grow together with the person. |
