| Stranger than fiction: The U.S. Department of Defense examined the possibility of creating an aphrodisiac bomb. The bomb would cause the enemy to turn on each other -- after finding their counterparts sexually irresistible. The Pentagon also considered the development of what might be called a Who? Me? bomb that was designed to product odors like soldiers passing gas or having very bad breath. This bomb was intended to disrupt enemy morale on the battlefield.
