The colors of the pasted items don't match the background image very well. Also all the added items look like they're floating. You could try lowering the saturation of these and add some shadows to give it some depth.

Very whimsical. But, I would drop the contrast on your creatures and adda few diffused shadows under them to help 'set' them into the pic. Just my opinion.

maybe if you try to change the background into warcraft effect it would standout more.( is just my personal OP ).
