Former Democratic Presidential candidate John Kerry contends that many voters in last year's election were denied actual access to the polls because of intimidation and trickery. Kerry spoke at an event sponsored by the League of Women Voters. Kerry contends that many potential voters complained that they could not make it to the polls because of the intimidation and trickery. Indeed, a lawsuit was filed in Ohio about voting machines -- but the Ohio Supreme Court dismissed the lawsuit.
