Prince Charles (Prince of Wales, full name Charles Philip Arthur George) celebrated his 60th birthday yesterday. Rather than partying, Charles dedicated his 60th birthday to doing charity work. Charles is the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh; and is their apparent to the throne. Prince Charles is married to Camilla Parker Bowles - which is his second marriage, - after the tragic death of his first wife Lady Diana Spencer. While Charles has often been portrayed as "royal fool" by the British and international tabloids, he's done a lot of charity work and is a good father to his two children - Prince William and Prince Henry.
To mark the 60th anniversary of Prince Charles, photoshop him any way you wish.

This Friday the artistic world is cerebrating the 110th birthday of Rene Magritte - Belgian surrealist artist. His surreal works ate not only visually impressive, but often thought-provoking. His series of paintings titled "The Treachery of Images" shows the realistically drawn objects captioned "Ceci n'est pas..." (French for "This is not..."). His famous image of a pipe is captioned "Ceci n'est pas une pipe" ("This is not a pipe"). As Magritte himself commented: "The famous pipe. How people reproached me for it! And yet, could you stuff my pipe? No, it’s just a representation, is it not? So if I had written on my picture ‘This is a pipe,’ I’d have been lying!"
Rene started his career as a designer at a wallpaper factory, and later was a poster and advertisement designer. His first personal exhibition in Brussels in 1921 got horrible critics reviews. Real fame came to Magritte in 1960 (shortly before his death in 1967) when his paintings influenced pop art and culture.
To celebrate the 110th birthday of Rene Magritte, photoshop any of his paintings. Some examples are: show how he would have created his works in the modern days, what people or objects he would choose, etc.

This is also King's 23rd year as a host of CNN's Larry King Live. 5th years ago on his 70th birthday Larry said "40000 interviews and I'm just warming up". He might be going after Geraldo Rivera's record of 52,693 interviews - sooner than we realize it! Happy 75th birthday, Larry!
To mark the 75th birthday of Larry King, photoshop him any way you wish. Some examples may include - giving special themes to Larry King Live show - Thanksgiving theme, Halloween theme, etc.; putting Larry in movies and paintings, etc. These are just some ideas.

This week is National Children's Book Week in the United States.
Celebrations of this holiday include meetings with children's authors and illustrators, writing competitions, and reading children's books to groups of children. If you have kids in your family, today is a great occasion to read them something before bed ;)
To celebrate National Children's Book Week, show what books could be written for children by celebrities and politicians. Think of all the (bad or good) wisdom some celebrities could "teach" kids, what "manuals" celebrities could make for children about "grown up life" or politics. You can either design your book cover from scratch or photoshop existing children's books. Here's a good example.
