He won a coast to coast series of victories in the Super Tuesday primary elections This included true landslides in states such as New York, Ohio, Maryland and California. John Edwards has now been eliminated from the race for the Democratic nomination. Kerry has begun to take the initial steps towards selecting a vice presidential running mate for the Democratic ticket in November.
