Contest Directions: It's been a long time since there has been an actual Filibuster in the US Senate. Use your imagination to create the sort of Filibuster (debate, fight) you'd like to see.... Note: A "Filibuster" is the term used for an extended debate in the US Senate which has the effect of preventing a vote. Senate rules contain no motion to force a vote. A vote occurs only once debate ends. The term comes from the early 19th century Spanish and Portuguese pirates, "filibusteros", who held ships hostage for ransom.

Until then, they will be granted the right to share their opinion about the need of child-proof caps on liquor bottles.

The Senate has been stalled with a Partisan divide over President Bush's Judicial nominees.
