| This contest is fueled by the following news: |
| | Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Governor of California, and his movie company has become involved in litigation with a toy company. The toy maker has created a bobble head doll that bears a likeness to the Governor. The Governor's movie production company is suing Ohio Discount Merchandise claiming that its $19.95 toy represents an illegal exploitation of the Governor's image. The toy company -- which is a family owned enterprise -- counters that the doll is political parody and therefore protected under the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. The company makes other bobblehead figures of political figures, including Jimmy Carter, John Kerry and Hillary Clinton. None of these other elected officials have sued. |
