Tina Fey is a popular American comedienne, writer & director. Besides, she is a participant of several television shows among which is a popular project "30 Rock", for which Tina Fey was awarded Golden Globe Award.
Tina Fey was born on May 18, 1970 in one of the suburbs of Philadelphia in a family, origin of which is represented by surprising blend of roots – Scottish, German, American and Greek. She vividly remembers her parents, who adored cinema & always took the young daughter with them. Her father allowed Tina Fey to go to bed very late, only if the reason was to watch a good movie.
Tina attended Cardington Elementary School & also in educational institution “Beverly Hills Middle School” (in Beverly Hills). In Middle School, Tina has really become interested in cinema & theater, particularly in comedy genre.
In 1988, she graduated from Upper Darby High School & was admitted to The University of Virginia and graduated in 1992 with Bachelor of Arts degree in drama.
Later, Tina relocated to Chicago to attend evening classes in “The Second City”. She was happy in “The Second City”, devoting her entire time to studying of finesse of improvisation. Subsequently, Tina Fey repeatedly spoke about how the theater school has given her lots of knowledge, techniques and skills.
Later on, Tina worked as an author & script writer. Her creativity was actually so good that as a result she not only won general recognition but also numerous awards. For example, in 2001, Tina Fey won “Writers Guild of America” award in a competition, held amongst best authors.
In September 2005, Tina took maternity leave – to take care of her newborn daughter - Alice. However, soon Tina returned back to work, ironically observing that contract should not suffer any delays in assigned activities independent of reasons.
Tina Fey was and remains to be a remarkable actress – she played in many films, which became successful first of all due to presence of Tina Fey in those films.
