This contest is fueled by the following news: Necktie (German neckerchief) is a strip of fabric or band, enveloping the neck under collar of shirt, blouse, etc. and typing from front side by a knot or bow. Necktie in the form of tying fabric strip occupies a special place in menswear. It is worn practically by all the sections of population: Government officials, businessmen, bankers, diplomats, etc. Bow tie is meant for formal parties especially ceremonies. Modern necktie first appeared in England in about 1860 when stand-up collars were made as fashion and shirts with lay-down collars appeared. Since then, necktie fashion constantly changed but basically the ties remained the same - length and width and knot types changed. In formals, practically, general rule is the necktie in dark shades in combination with light-colored shirts. Black necktie on a white shirt is compulsory while expressing grief and condolences. 21st Century man wears a necktie with pleasure keeping up the feeling of style and as a rule, with modest elegance. Style and elegance of appearance of man is formed with the help of rightly selected necktie. Two, in principle, various possibilities are generally accepted: Tie is selected to match or differs very little from shirt or coat or special effect is achieved owing to color contrast. Restrained correctness is the name of new style, directly relevant to ties. In this case, adherence of some basic rules can help in avoiding gross blunders: necktie should be in slight contrast with shirt (for example, through color shades); As usual, the advice is still valid: One of colors of shirt or coat (for example, if the shirt or coat has fine stripes) should be present on tie and other colors of necktie should be in contrast; Contrast should be very insignificant, for example, two muffled shades can be set against each other to form contrast; Any type of figure is allowed on a tie for a single-colored shirt which ever you wish to have and how well they match the occasion, on which you wear the necktie; Composite figures should not be different as well as completely repeating each other; Large figures should be avoided. Rule is valid here: If the figure is large, the necktie is considered as less strict and less formal; During the selection of kerchief for breast pocket of a coat, the main aim is to attain harmonic and interesting optic coordination between tie, shirt and coat simultaneously. In any case, avoid combination of kerchief and necktie, having one and the same figure. Party colored bow-tie will be inappropriate for a business suit: imagine that the bow-tie is your logo. In general, bow-tie, according to the rules, better suits on an artist than on the bank manager. Bank manager should wear ties in muffled shades but should be very elegant. Moreover, the tie should be of appropriate length i.e tie length should be such that the tip of necktie should barely cover the belt of trousers. Tie should not be more lengthy or shorter! If the necktie hangs down too low, there is only one means: carefully untie the knot and once again make a proper knot. And once again repeat the process till right length is achieved: Wide end of the necktie should cover the belt of trousers and narrow end of tie ideally should be shorter by 2-3 cm... And when desirable result is achieved, it is also necessary to correct the knot too. Because under no circumstances, a necktie should not be worn with a loose knot and more over on unbuttoned collar! It would be absolutely better without a necktie...
