| The "Star Wars" crew -- from Darth Vader, to Yoda, to Princess Obi-Wan Kejawa to the Jedi -- will take up their adventures off the silver screen to the tremendous joy of fans of the films the world over. The latest "Star Wars" developments in the real world include the release of two disc DVD sets of Episode IV, A New Hope," "Episode V, The Empire Strikes Back" and "Episode VI, Return of the Jedi." The DVD sets are due out in September. In addition, on the same day as the DVD sets release, "Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy," a follow-up to the best-selling video game from last year will hit the marketplace. In that game, you are a "Star Wars" character made of Lego building blocks. You can be a Yodarth, a See-Chewpio, a Princess Obi-Wan Kejawa or anything or anyone else that your imagination can conjure. The will be available for most platforms. If you are a book nut and have been to your local bookseller recently, you have seen the hundreds of "Star Wars" titles now available. Some of these books explore uncharted corners of the "Star Wars" galaxy that have not been visited on the screen or elsewhere in the past. The next noveldue out is entitled: Darth Bane: Path of Destruction by Drew Karpyshyn, and will hit stores in the fall. The twist this latest book is that it is set 1,000 years before "Episode IV, A New Hope." In addition to the books and other items, Hasbro, maker of Star Wars toys, is paying plastic tribute to film creator George Lucas. Hasbro is issuing a limited-edition action figure in Storm Trooper attire. The new toy is only available to participants in Hasbro's "Ultimate Galactic Hunt." In addition, dedicated fans must show proof of purchase of five vintage Star Wars action figures in order to get a hold of the George Lucas Storm Trooper figurine.

• 1999 – Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace
A scientific-fantasy film, shot by George Lucas, fourth according to the year of release, chronologically first film of the cine saga of “Star Wars”.
Chancellor Valorum of the Galactic Republic secretly sends two Jedi Knights to settle the crisis between The Trade Federation and planet Naboo. However the talks in the cards do not take place. Escaping from death, Jedi along with the Queen of Naboo Padme Amidala runaway from the planet in hope to reach the capital of the galaxy planet-city Coruscant. On the way they are forced to stop on the deserted planet Tatooine. Here Jedi finds a special boy-slave named Anakin Skywalker in whom there is a special power force. Jedi takes the boy with them to teach him the art of Jedi. Son the situation aggravates, when Jedi comes to know that the once for ever conqueror, Sith returns.
The film premiere was held on 19th may 1999 year, almost after 16 years of the release of the previous film in series – “Star Wars. Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi”. The film release was accompanied by wide advertisement companies and great attention all over the world. Inspite of many different critic opinions, the film collected 924.3 million dollars all over the world.
*2002 – Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones
The film is set ten years after the Battle of Naboo, when the galaxy is on the brink of civil war. Under the leadership of a renegade Jedi named Count Dooku, thousands of solar systems threaten to secede from the Galactic Republic. When an assassination attempt is made on Senator Padme Amidala, the former Queen of Naboo, 19-year-old Jedi apprentice Anakin Skywalker is assigned to protect her, while his mentor Obi-Wan Kenobi is assigned to investigate the assassination attempt. Soon, Anakin, Padme, and Obi-Wan are drawn into the heart of the Separatist territories, and the beginning of a new threat to the galaxy, the Clone Wars.
“Attack of the Clones” was released 16th of May 2002 year and as “The implicit threat”, is treated as much weaker, than the original trilogy. “The Attack of the Clones” stood as the first film in the series of “Star Wars”, which did not pay off in the year of its release; “Spider Man”, “The Lord of the Rings: the two forts” and “Harry Porter and the secret room” got higher revenue receipts.
