The Star Wars saga made another comeback to the big screen, - this time as CGI animated science fiction film "The Clone Wars". The movie premiered last weekend and placed the third in box office receipts, losing only to "Tropic Thunder" and "The Dark Knight".
It is the first animated movie in the Star Wars series.
It is also the first Star Wars movie distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, instead of 20th Century Fox.
One of the script writers for "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" is Scott Murphy - the mastermind behind all the Space Quest games by Sierra Online.
To celebrate the comeback of Star Wars saga, merge any movie, cartoon, or TV series/sitcom with any of the Star Wars movies. Here's a good example.

| | “Star wars: The Clone Wars” - differs from traditional “Star wars” as it is an animated film.
Events occur between “Attack of clones” and “Revenge of the Sith”. This episode is one of the best in the history of Star Wars.
In the center of narration - short briefing in second and third episodes, Anakin Skywalker (voice by Matt Lanter). Skywalker, along with favourite heroes Obi-Wan Kenobi (James Arnold Taylor) and Padme Amidala (Catherine Taber) and Ashoka Tano (Ashley Drane), Padawan of Anakin, who joins the team, carries out battle against global evil.
Heroes are confronted by supreme chancellor Palpatine (Ian Abercrombie), count Dooku (Christopher Lee) and General Grievous (Mathew Wood) — carry out capturing plan of Galaxy. Last fight begins and destinies of Universe are entrusted with knights-Jedi. Their exploits become the brightest episodes of fights and will present set of surprising openings.
One of the most remarkable characters of animated film - Count Dooku, who is lent voice by Christopher Lee. His inimitable saturated bass voice ensures unforgettable impression from viewing.
Obi-Wan Kenobi is also an interesting character. With his “sculptural” beard, sabre and hand indicating forward, like Greek statue, Obi-Wan Kenobi seems to be more similar to participant of “300 Spartans” than captain of a spaceship.
In animated film, it is necessary to mention that “style” of Dave Filoni, author of very popular cartoon film “Avatar” in America, is clearly visible. His “serial” past – is his trump. Matter is that, Lucas did not refuse the idea of making of multi-serial cartoon film “The Clone Wars”. Full-length film will be some sort of prelude to start a serial on on TV in USA and Western Europe.
Animated film is distributed by Lucasfilm Animation. Producers are George Lucas, Catherine Winder and Sarah Wall. Animation manga-style is used in cartoon film. Tendency of authors towards high-end technical effects is visible in cartoon film: movements of characters look mechanical; less attention is given to dialogues. It brings cartoon film together with picture of Jerry & Sylvan Anderson “Harbingers of Storm” and serial “Fireball XL5” 1962-1963.
Previous “Star Wars” have given wide platform, on which, it is possible to develop next battle. Now, Lucas has the possibilities to actually develop infinite histories of wars.
Popular theme of John Williams in arrangement is played in the beginning and in the end of cartoon film. Music of the animated film is scored by Kevin kiner. Composer created the new theme for each episode.
