| “Star wars: The Clone Wars” - differs from traditional “Star wars” as it is an animated film.
The events occur between “Attack of clones” and “Revenge of the Sith”. This episode is one of the best in the history of Star Wars.
In the center of narration - a short briefing in the second and third episodes, Anakin Skywalker (voice by Matt Lanter), Skywalker, along with favourite heroes Obi-Wan Kenobi (James Arnold Taylor), Padme Amidala (Catherine Taber) and Ashoka Tano (Ashley Drane), Padawan of Anakin, who joins the team, carries out a battle against global evil.
The heroes are confronted by the supreme chancellor Palpatine (Ian Abercrombie), count Dooku (Christopher Lee) and General Grievous (Mathew Wood) — and carry out capturing a plan of the Galaxy. The last fight begins and the destinies of the Universe are entrusted with the knights-Jedi. Their exploits become the brightest episodes of fights and will present a set of surprising openings.
One of the most remarkable characters of the animated film is Count Dooku, who is lent his voice by Christopher Lee. His inimitable saturated bass voice ensures an unforgettable impression for the viewer.
Obi-Wan Kenobi is also an interesting character. With his “sculptural” beard, saber and hand indicating forward, like a Greek statue, Obi-Wan Kenobi seems to be more similar to a participant of “300 Spartans” than the captain of a spaceship.
In the animated film, it is necessary to mention that the “style” of Dave Filoni, author of the very popular cartoon film “Avatar” in America, is clearly visible. Lucas did not refuse the idea of the making of a multi-serial cartoon film “The Clone Wars”. The full-length film will be some sort of prelude to the start of the serial on TV in the USA and Western Europe.
The animated film is distributed by Lucasfilm Animation. The producers are George Lucas, Catherine Winder and Sarah Wall. The animation manga style is used in the cartoon film. The tendency of authors towards high-end technical effects is visible in the cartoon film: the movements of the characters look mechanical; less attention is given to the dialogues. It brings the cartoon film together with the picture by Jerry and Sylvan Anderson “Harbingers of Storm” and the serial “Fireball XL5” 1962-1963.
Previous “Star Wars” has been given a wide platform, on which, it is possible to develop a next battle. Now Lucas has the possibilities to actually develop infinite histories of the wars.
The popular theme by John Williams in arrangement is played in the beginning and at the end of the cartoon film. Music on the animated film is scored by Kevin Kiner. The composer created the new theme for each episode.
