Star Wars Day

Contest Directions:  Apparently we missed the celebration of Star Wars Day just by one day. Yes, there's a Star Wars Day, and it's celebrated on May the 4th. The reason is that it's the only day of the year when you go around saying "May the fourth be with you!" - the pun on the immortal phrase from the Star Wars saga.
As belated celebration of Star Wars Day, put Star Wars characters in real life. E.g. give them new jobs, make them promote products and services, etc.
May the fourth be with you!

This contest is fueled by the following news:
Star Wars is the worldwide project of George Lucas, an American producer and director. Officially, “Star Wars” appeared on May 25, 1977. A film was released on the big screen which is popular as “Star Wars: Episode IV, A New Hope”. The huge success of the movie, which is very popular around the world, has inspired George Lucas to create a continuation of “Star Wars”. As a producer, he created two more series “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi”. It appeared that with this the star wars epic ended. Lucas did not stop his activities and on the borderline of the 20th and 21st centuries, he organizes premiers of “omitted” series, in which the history of shot events is narrated. The audience is taken back to the beginning of the “Star Wars” saga. “Star Wars” has rendered a huge impact on mass culture and fans of the film have gathered in clubs. The film epic has become the beginning of the complete fiction genre in cinematography. Six episodes, made in two stages, confused with respect to time, form the “Star Wars” cycle: 1977 – “Star Wars. Episode IV. A New Hope”; 1980 – “Star Wars. Episode V. The Empire Strikes Back”; 1983 – “Star Wars. Episode VI. Return of the Jedi”; 1999 – “Star Wars. Episode I. The Phantom Menace”; 2002 – “Star Wars. Episode II. Attack of the Clones”; 2005 – “Star Wars. Episode III. Revenge of the Sith”; Somewhere around thirty years back, few people like George Lucas and his close friends knew about the universal “Star Wars”. Everything changed in 1977 when the movie “Star Wars: Episode IV” gained worldwide popularity. At present the globally popular space saga not only has six full-length blockbuster films but also large numbers of comics, books, desktop & PC games, various accessories from plastic figures to mobile telephones as assets. Interesting Star Wars facts: The circle has become closed, Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader and Padme Amidala has given birth to a male child Luke and at last the villains and righteous men have occupied their places. The saga about star wars began from episode IV in 1977. It was not easy for the admirers of the film: director George Lucas forced them to see the end of the history first and then made them see the start. The script confusion was supplemented with the abundance of strange characters with unpredictable behavior. 1. Each actor who was supposed to have a light saber, had the right to select the color of the saber. Mainly the blue colored light saber was selected as in the case of Anakin Skywalker or Obi-Wan Kenobi, the green light saber as in the case of Yoda or the red light saber by Darth Vader or emperor Palpatine. Only Mace Windu had the unusual purple color light saber. Actor Samuel L. Jackson considered that such light sabers would look amusing. 2. The word “Jedi”, with which George Lucas called his space knights originated from Japan. “Jidaigeki” (“historical drama”) - the genre in Japanese cinema which tells about Samurais, their legends and real historical events. (For example, the film of Takeshi Kitano “Zatoichi” belongs to this film genre). Lucas, who was in Japan, the country of rising sun, one year prior to the making of “Star Wars” saw these movies on TV and liked the word “Jidai” and he transformed it into “Jedi”. 3. All spacecrafts in “Star wars” are equipped with the blasters E11. The “Sterling” L2A3 –9mm submachine gun from the World War II period, which is being used by British armies, served as the prototype for them. Due to the design features of the submachine gun (as a consequence - the blaster), it can only be held in left hand and therefore all the star fighters in the film have turned out to be left-handed. 4. “Star wars” could have been named differently. The studio “20th Century Fox” was not interested in the name considering that the name bears a negative sense. While working on the film, a contest was organized between the film crew and actors for suggesting the best name of the movie. But nobody could come up with anything interesting and subsequently, it was decided to keep the name “Star wars”. 5. Darth Vader was the first hero whose character was conceived by George Lucas for “Star wars”. “Vader” means “father” in the Dutch language. Darth means Dark Lord of the Sith. The name “Anakin Skywalker” was borrowed by George Lucas from his director friend Mr. Ken Annakin. And in general, “Annakin” is the Greek word “Annax” which means “lord”.
