This contest is fueled by the following news: Kitten raising tips: When kittens are 45 days old, they are put on record (inspection for defects, breed conformity) and they are provided with birth certificate, according to the number of which the pedigree of each kitten is issued in future. Qualified specialists of club carry out the putting on record. When a kitten is taken as pet, you need to know how to raise kittens. This is very important question. Cats live by the laws of Nature & they do not understand human games such as, today I love you & allow you all, and tomorrow I have a bad mood and I do not allow anything. If you allow or disallow something, then this should stay as a rule forever. Do not feed the kitten from your saucer, because in the cat world, this means that the kitten is above you in the rank , that is, it occupies higher position than you in the hierarchy. Never allow the kitten to sleep on your bed. Bed, a place, where your smell is most pronounced, this is your throne & it is your place to sleep. And, by safeguarding your bed, periodically driving away the outsiders, can you make them understand who's the boss in the house. And, it is necessary to do this from the age of kitten, but not when the adult cat has decided that it was his rightful place. That's when the insult is more & clarifying the relationship with smells. This applies not only to cats but also to tomcats. How an animal can show who's the boss in the house? Incidentally, only animal leaders have the right to leave their smell. And, who is the boss in your house? If the cat thinks that it is the chief, then this can be explained in his own language that it was wrong. It is done in this fashion: take the cat by its scruff (how cat carries its kittens) & slightly hit on the face in sliding fashion with fingers spread & while making bristling and hissing sounds. Tightly hold the cat by its scruff & the above-mentioned procedure should be done till the cat does not bring its tail down. If necessary, even it is done, you can repeat this trick. Essence of this procedure is to make it understand the delusions of grandeur & as a consequence, cat ceases to leave its odour. Yes, and respect from its side towards you is guaranteed. If you are think that Their Majesty will be offended, then the master of the house is the cat but not you. Inculcating toilet habit: It is utmost important to train the kittens in using the toilet from their first step. It is necessary to make small space near their nest and put the two low trays filled with fine filler, made of specially treated clay. Kittens, like all children, have the habit of tasting everything. Clay will not harm them, because, in the villages, clay is still offered to calves and piglets with stomach problems. One has to dig the filler with hand & the kittens immediately start digging on their own. Nature's instinct comes into play, if it digs a hole, then it is the place for pee! Curiosity & desire to do the same thing what their sisters, brothers did - all kittens start using the trays. Better not to remove the enclosure for 2 weeks, because it is important consolidate the habit of using the tray as toilet, because children are forgetful, and lost in the wilds of apartment & the kitten wanting to pee, may not search for right place and pee anywhere in the apartment. To avoid this, make sure that the kittens have learnt the lesson. Some kittens are trained to use trays without filler, on mesh. But! Without filler, bad odor spreads into the apartment & the cat will not reuse the same tray if you could not clear the tray in-time & in this case, the cat may use other place near the tray or anywhere else in the apartment to fulfill its nature's call. What difference does it make to a cat? Nothing to dig, being it a tray, under the door or behind couch.
