| | A German man has now canned the noxious smelling exhaust fumes of East Germany's infamous Traband car (a car that is now a cult classic). Thosten Jahn said that he is doing brisk business selling the scent to people who are nostalgic for the former Communist state. He noted that the smell is something very special and something that cannot really be found anymore in today's world. He calls his product "Trabi." The canned exhaust sells for $4.81. Fifteen years after the reunification of Germany there has been a wave of nostalgia for East Germany. Memories of the communist state's social safety nets, holiday camps and quaint consumer products like the little Trabants are overshadowing the negative aspects of life under a Communist regime.
