This contest is fueled by the following news:
NASA has announced that, after descovering shuttle damage it will take steps to replace braking systems in all space shuttle crafts since realising that some of the gears on the brakes actually were installed backwards. Bill Parsons, who is the shuttle program manager, said last week that he has launched an investigation into the matter. He said that some of the parts on the shuttles are original and may not have been inspected in over twenty years. Through the years, there have been a number of parts on the found to have been put on backwards causing minor shuttle damage. Even though the damage was not serious enough to undermine the whole space mission, it needs to be taken care of immediately, said Parsons.
