| Swedish based appliance company Electrolux, known for it's customer
friendly product design, has prepared another gift for housekeepers.
The company research lab has developed the shoes that really vacuum as you
walk. They may not looks so fancy but the do the job, say the
designers. All you need is a pair of batteries and a pair of feel to
have them going. Stylish design should not be much of an issues,
thinks the company, as such shoe products are merely for indoor use for
house cleaning - not a reason to put on anything fancy with high heels for such "dirty
work." Electrolux appliance designers unofficially call these shoes "Shoovers"
which is derived from the word hoover - an important function in this
product. The official prototype name is a bit different though -
"Dustmates", and this is how the shoes will become known to the
consumer market. |
How about this for Monday news - shoes that vacuum as you walk. It must be quite a walk though to properly clean the floors in all places. In other words any man who uses them will be "boldly going where no man has gone before."
