This contest is fueled by the following news: Self-Defense should be real. Do something unexpected and keeping it simple are your trump cards when defending yourself. Anyone, even a highly trained professional can be put into a stalemate through uncommon, nonstandard actions, which means that there's always a chance to win. The best method of defense is "quick feet". It is necessary to run when you have got into a critical situation but then only when the situation appears to be threatening. Bypass the group of teenagers and take the long way around, but only on a properly illuminated street. Walk on the pavement close to the road and do not walk close to the walls of houses and entrances, in other words, always keep some space available to maneuver. Certainly, while walking alone, it is very easy to not let the inner voice or conscience tease you: "Frightened and you call yourself a man!" Eventually, it is very realistic to preserve your health and clothes. It is another matter, when you are with a girl and your position does not allow you to simply run away... In extreme situations, when nothing can be done, the best means of defense is to raise an alarm by screaming so that the eardrums of the attacking person burst and the situation becomes scary for him because of your scream. However, it is also important to practice good screaming. In karate a special scream called a "Kiah" is used for mobilizing additional energy and frightening and demoralizing the opponent. What do you do when you need to defend yourself, but for some reason, you cannot scream? In case of a threat in a crowded place (transport, shop) try to act as if you are suffering from a heart attack or just faint. It will at once draw the attention of surrounding people, the same thing happens if you break the case of glass case for an alarm system, window or a glass door. If a place of attack is deserted and you are not in a position to resist, then give everything the criminal demands: wallet, wrist watch, cap…after all, your life won't with this. Certainly, the most effective way of self-defense is not to fall into such situations and only when it becomes necessary to safeguard your life and dignity. But, it is absolutely clear that it is impossible to always avoid such situations. And in such a case, the necessity to protect ourselves can arise at any point of time. It is necessary to remember that every hooligan has certain points on his body, that when you hit them, this can cause severe pain, injury and demoralize the attacker. 1. Feet, shins and knees. The feet, shins and especially the knees of any person are simply full of nerves. Remember that your leg, especially if good boots are worn, can itself become a dangerous weapon. So, try to step on the feet of an attacker with all your force or strike a blow on his shin with your boot's front edge. It will be even more effective if he's kicked on the knee cap, which will not only cause unbearable pain but also will immobilize the attacker. The main advantage – a blow on the knee will be effective even if you strike the knee with a bare foot. 2. Groin The groin is such a place which makes any man instinctively draw legs together.
