| The U.S. federal government has raised the national terror attack warning level to the second highest point on Sunday. The terror attack warning level was increased following warnings that al-Qaida was plotting attacks in the United States during the holiday season. All of this was according to Tom Ridge, the Secretary of Homeland Security. He said that Code Orange was necessary because the threats against the United States were greater than at any other time since September 11, 2001. |
