Last Friday, John McCain's announcement for his choice of running mate raised a lot of eyebrows even amongst Republicans. It's Alaska's Governor Sarah Palin, a mother of five, who has served for less than 2 years. Palin was also less popular and experienced than any other candidate on McCain's short list. Another surprise is that Palin's 17 year old unmarried daughter is 5 months pregnant and media rumors that Palin's fifth child is also her daughter's. However, these election VP choices could be considered a balancing act. Obama chose Biden to match McCain's experience and age. In response, McCain chose Palin to match Obama's inexperience and youth.

Mr. Liberman could provide support of independent voters, especially in states with huge share of Jewish population, like Florida, to the Republican candidate.
Talks about Sarah Palin becoming the second number of republican list appeared only on Thursday evening when journalists noticed that the private plane from Alaska with governor onboard landed in Dayton in the State of Ohio. Yesterday, pre-election meeting consisting of 10000 members was held in support of McCain in Dayton.
Lady Palin is heading the Sate of Alaska for less than two years but has already proved herself as active activist against corruption and lobbyist of building new pipeline to transport natural gas from deposits in Arctic coast of USA, which has something in common with John McCain's power policy. Besides, pre-election staff of republican candidate is relying on 44-year-old Palin, who by the way is mother of five children, can attract the voters of democratic electorate, which initially supported Hillary Clinton and remained disappointed by the fact that Barrack Obama did not chose Hillary Clinton as running mate.
