Sarah Palin - pictures galleryAdvanced Photoshop Contest - 34 image entries
 Contest Directions:
Last Friday, John McCain's announcement for his choice of running mate raised a lot of eyebrows even amongst Republicans. It's Alaska's Governor Sarah Palin, a mother of five, who has served for less than 2 years. Palin was also less popular and experienced than any other candidate on McCain's short list. Another surprise is that Palin's 17 year old unmarried daughter is 5 months pregnant and media rumors that Palin's fifth child is also her daughter's. However, these election VP choices could be considered a balancing act. Obama chose Biden to match McCain's experience and age. In response, McCain chose Palin to match Obama's inexperience and youth.
Photoshop Sarah Palin any way you wish. Some examples are: create more scandals surrounding her persona (as magazine covers, or otherwise), create election McCain-Palin election posters, show some things from her past or even childhood, photoshop Sarah Palin into movies and paintings, etc.
Here's a good example.

Radio station “Reshet Beth” quoted that Dana Perino, the white house press-secretary said that Bush called Palin and told her that she will be a “tremendous” candidate for the vice-president’s post. The US president wished the governor of the state of Alaska good luck and stated that he waits for a “Great victory” for the republicans during the elections on the 4th November, 2008.

McCain's choice appeared to be sudden for analysts.
Yesterday, John McCain, candidate for the US president’s post from the Republican Party, named the candidate for vice-president. Contrary to the majority of predictions, the senator from Arizona chose Sarah Palin, governor of the state of Alaska. Tim Pawlenty, governor of Minnesota and Mitt Romney, ex-governor of Massachusetts, who enjoyed the support of the majority of the conservative wing of the Republican Party were considered favorites for the post of vice-president. Stakes were high, even Joe Lieberman was considered, the closest friend of McCain, who in 2000 was a candidate for vice-president from the Democratic Party, but later on left the party ranks due to discord with war criticism relating to Iraq. Mr. Liberman could have provided the support of independent voters, especially in states with a huge share of the Jewish population, like Florida, to the Republican candidate.
Talks about Sarah Palin becoming the second number on the republican list appeared only on Thursday evening when journalists noticed that the private plane from Alaska with the governor onboard landed in Dayton in the State of Ohio. Lady Palin has been heading the Sate of Alaska for less than two years but has already proved herself as active activist against corruption and the lobbyist of building new pipelines to transport natural gas from deposits in the Arctic coast of the USA, which has something in common with John McCain's power policy. Also, the pre-election staff of the republican candidate is relying on 44-year-old Palin, who is mother of five children, and can attract the voters from the democratic electorate, which initially supported Hillary Clinton and remained disappointed by the fact that Barrack Obama did not chose Hillary Clinton as his running mate.
